“My husband and I went to CB for a concert and I searched for a fun, cute, local place to eat. So glad I found the Porch! We had DELICIOUS food and loved the atmosphere. I love all things vintage so I especially enjoyed that each table had different salt and pepper shakers, most of which were true vintage. The plates our meals came on reminded me of dinner at my great grandma’s house.. which is a good thing!…and I noticed everyone had different plates, too. So fun! Absolutely love a good down-home feeling place. 10/10 will return!“

“Found this place while traveling to visit family. Steak was better than the steakhouse ones. Sides were amazing. They have fresh brewed flavored iced tea. Servers were friendly and very responsive to needs. Atmosphere is relaxed and the restaurant is very clean.“

“Have frequented Pizza King many times over the years and have usually had good service. Saw our server we normally have had lately and she said we were sitting in her section and she would be right back. Had a different server named Will for some reason. Right after he took our order Shelby came over and was upset. I told her it was ok. He was ok but not our Shelby. Food was very good as usual“

Prompt service..food always served hot and delicious. We love Miss Holly, especially when she's doing the cooking. She's a sweetheart. Prices are within range and appropriate. At the top of our favorite list. Please give this Cafe a try...I dont think you will be disappointed.“

“my daughter and I went to barleys yesterday for lunch. loved that it was handicap accessible without any steps. We sat towards the back of the reatraunt and was quickly serviced by a waitress to get our drink orders and given menus. I ordered the patty melt and my daughter ordered a Canadian pizza. both were really good. the only thing we wished were different and I say we because she stole a lot of my fries lol were the fries needed seasoned with something. we had to add salt. and the patty melt sandwich could've used an added sauce like Dorothy lynch or something. it wasn't dry just needed something else to add flavor. otherwise it was really good. will definitely be back.“

“Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and everything was great! CFS was perfectly seasoned and crispy with every bite. Sides were cooked well and pretty tasty, too. Definitely recommend trying it out!“

“The atmosphere of the place was very phenomenal, but there were some things that were questionable, but I won’t go into detail about that because the only thing mysterious was a fork that was not picked up that I accidentally touched that fork making me put it back where I went to wash hands. The food was very amazing and I almost passed out because of it and what I had was the sirloin 6 ounce with asparagus and some french fries which was Bussin with some ranch that you guys had and it was very, very tasty in the end. The service was also very nice. This gentleman in the checkers vest looking outfit was very polite. He asked what we needed basically all the things to be a good service waiter so this place really stands up on those for me. I would recommend to anyone interested in a place like this to come on down to Longhorn so you can experience the place and enjoy the great flavors of steak and margaritas that I can’t drink sadly because I’m 17.“

“Just got done eating here tonight and the service was excellent! Lonnie was the master chef on the grill cooking our food to perfection, it is excellent Everytime he is serving food. Then there's Lisa the manager who is always working the floor and checking on the customers she is always friendly and helpful. Lastly our server Chasity was friendly and on top of our drinks during a rush. The communication and atmosphere tonight was excellent.“

He knew all of the ipa selections and recommended a really great beer that I have never heard of. he went above and beyond for us in a way I have never experienced. The food was good! “The lady at the front desk has been working there and by herself for 20 years! They only pay her $10 a hour and don’t even show appreciation. She deserves to retire and get some money! I thought she owned the place! We should start a go fund me for her! Truly!“

“We have eaten at just about every Chinese restaurant in the metro during the last 20+ years. By far, our go-to favorite is Taste of China in downtown Council Bluffs. The restaurant is small and spartan, so we've usually ordered out. The prices are generally competitive. Now, we hasten to add that the staff is not particularly friendly or talkative (a fairly insignificant flaw). But the food is the standout!!! We'd love to say we've tasted most everything on their menu, but we are stuck on a couple dozen items we keep eating over and over. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. We don't think you'll go wrong with Taste of China!!!“
