“My wife and I stopped here for breakfast on Feb 18 while visiting the Omaha, Ne/Council Bluff, Iowa area. The food was great but they were very short staffed this particular morning. However, the staff that was working, our waitress was Kimmie, were going full speed ahead trying to get orders taken and food served. All together from the time we set down to the time we checked out was about an hour. The quality of the food and the effort on the part of the staff that was working will allow me to revisit the Apple Barrel for breakfast in the future.“

“I’m vegetarian and usually sandwich shops just don’t hit the spot, but I LOVE this place. I had it once and now I genuinely cannot go anywhere else. I would eat it every meal of every day if I could. The bread is always fresh and soft, and the fries are amazing. If you haven’t tried this place, you are missing out and you NEED to try it! Shoutout to Kevin, he always makes the BEST sandwiches!“
