Stopped at a new place for supper tonight with a friend. Drove to Cresent, Iowa to a place that reminds one like that t.v. show Cheers to a certain degree. 😊 As a hometown bar & grill that services great food and has great service too.
We both enjoyed Cheeseburgers, (most places have frozen meat patties) mine tasted like real Midwestern meat. My friend had the breaded mushrooms, and i had the jalapeno poppers, and the prices are fair.
Come enjoy a bit of Hometown place, that you'll be returning back for more. 😎

Would not recommend. Should have known when I ordered a Philly and my wife ordered a French Dip, and they had to check to see if they had the meat sliced. It appeared we got some brisket crumb sandwiches.

They were the only place open in town. There was no food available at all. The bartender was the nicest. We ended up ordering a pizza from Casey's and just ate it at the bar. You can't go wrong with beer and pizza.
