“I’ve been to Dave’s hot chicken a few times, and I’ve loved it each visit. The restaurant is usually always busy, and you can expect to wait 20+ minutes for your food any given day. However, I recommend this restaurant still due to the great food they have there. The chicken is cooked perfectly with the best blend of spices and sauce. Come hungry, because you will get your money’s worth of food.”

“I love Martini's & this place was on my list for my bday on 12/15 - yes I know its not open on Sun, so my plan was to go on Sat the 14th. Weather interfered w ice storm on Fri 13th, so Sat night was super packed & i wasn't able to even get in....no biggie, went to Roxxy n had a blast! Fast forward to my bff coming out from NY n here for Christmas n we decided to go out on 12/28 n try again & yay we were able to finally get in! The place is so elegant n beautiful & has a very classy comfortable feeling to it - I knew I would 💜 it! At the bar talking about my quest n fail of trying to come here for my bday a few weeks ago, sitting next to me was the bar manager Carmen - she said she'd buy me a shot n I was like "oh cool", I never saw it so thought she was just being nice n a totally forgot n I thought 'its ok, no biggie"....then I go to pay my bill & turns out she picked up my 1st round of drinks - so extremely super sweet of her & I appreciated that n her so much. Huge THANK YOU to her & bartender Sophia for making my visit w my bff rock & an awesome experience!”

“My wife and I were in town for the "Beyond Van Gogh" exhibit at the Mid-America Center. Afterward, we looked up restaurants near us and chose La Sierra because several reviews mentioned authentic cuisine. We were not misled. The menu is small and straight forward. Pick your fillings and choose it in either a gordita, burrito, quesadilla or on a plate. We both got selections as gorditas. My wife ordered: Asado De Puerco, Picadillo Verde and Picadillo Rojo. I ordered: Papas Con Carne, Papas Con Chorizo and Deshabrada. I also wound up getting a burrito with Machaca. All the meats were seasoned nicely and delicious. Both the verde and rojo salsas they brought out enhanced the food. The rojo does have a kick (same sauce as in the Desshbrada) but the heat didn't linger so eating it was enjoyable. The margarita I ordered was delicious, made with real lime juice. Some people might complain because it is regular sized, served in a glass roughly the size of a martini glass. It isn't a gigantic gimmick you find in a lot of American-Mexican restaurants. It hit the spot! The fruit empanadas were lovely, the crust similar to a sugar cookie with strawberry or apricot. We tried both and thought the apricot won by a hair. Its sweet flavor was slightly stronger than the strawberry. The service was excellent, both our server and the gentleman from the kitchen (maybe owner) who brought out food to the table were extremely friendly and a pleasure to speak with. We've marked La Sierra in our "must do again" list and when we care back in Omaha, we will be stopping in.”

“I tried Taste of Heaven for the first time at the Nebraska Enterprise Fund's Juneteenth celebration. I had the catfish and it was wonderful! Some else had catfish and ribs and said they were both great. After you order they give you "pager" the lights up when your food is ready. That was great as I was able to walk around and enjoy the event while waiting.”
