I finally stopped by Bayside Bistro in Rock Island and my only regret is that it took me so long. I had the grilled shrimp po’boy and it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were big and perfectly cooked. The bread was fresh and the sauce was tangy. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.
We knew up front that they were short a cook, no worries, but the coffee and fresh squeezed juice took 25 minutes to come out that’s crazy. I received my meal and when I inquired about my coffee and juice I got attitude. The kid delivering plates would stand next to you not saying a work, expecting you to take your food off his tray.
SUPER CUTE!!! And food was super delicious! Was on a road trip back to the east coast and stopped through to pick up breakfast. Town is scenic, this place is so lovely and spacious. Tish, the owner, is super welcoming and helpful. I ordered the breakfast bowl (eggs, potatoes, sourdough bread, and bacon) with the Dancing Berry smoothie). Yuuuuuuuuuuuuum! My two friends both ordered the veggie sandwich and loved it...they also had the Pina colada and bayside breeze smoothies respectively....
