The atmosphere and the service was fantastic. The drinks were good. The food was not . The “Fall Crostini” Was very, very messy and almost impossible to eat in a public setting. Kind of fell apart. The French onion soup was so salty. It was almost not edible.
The service was slow, from the reception desk through payment, but NOT due to the wait staff. They were greatly understaffed, people virtually running to their next stop. Very genuine and responsive wait staff, outstanding food.
We arrived in a huge group on a tour bus during a tornado and a flood watch, and unexpectedly our entire group had to stay at the hotel to dine that night. We filled up the entire restaurant, almost every seat. The host welcomed us all with a huge smile and kind words, and made all of us feel welcome. I told her I knew she wasn’t expecting all of us, and I apologized for descending upon her the way we did. She didn’t miss a beat and told all of us that she was so happy we...
