I Googled best lunch in Davenport, and Café d'Marie was at the top of the list, and deservedly so. The staff is gracious, the atmosphere delightful, and judging by the soup and quiche, the food is outstanding! If cauliflower soup is the special when you dine, please don't miss it. From the quiche list, I asked for a recommendation and went with the cherry, goat cheese and spinach. I wish I lived nearby as I'd go back often. To take to the hotel I picked the Reeces peanut butter cookie. Not all of of it made it there.

Best cinnamon roll I've ever had and I LOVE cinnamon rolls. Coffee is fantastic, paninis are to die for, and service was incredible!
100% recommend anyone who likes good food and good service to come here!

Wonderfully cozy cafe in downtown Davenport. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a local gem in the QC. Their quiche and soup of the day (curried cauliflower) was delicious, and they have a plethora of coffee options to choose from. I would recommend going early to avoid a wait
I couldn’t have happened by a more hospitable and welcoming experience on my one morning in Davenport passing through. I woke up in Illinois (near the legendary Rozz-Tox) and walked across the bridge to get here. Wonderful curried cauliflower soup and cappuccino, and as a NYer I appreciated how no one rushed me out of my seat even on a busy morning when they had every right to. I’ll be back next time for sure.

First time last Saturday. Had the mushroom soup...THE BEST SOUP OF ANY KIND THAT I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Excellent staff, all were very friendly, helpful and smiling. You could tell they all enjoyed working there. Party of three, we all loved EVERY SINGLE THING we ordered and we are very picky. Atmosphere is so cool. Can't wait to go back! Owner goes over and above to ensure the best experience for everyone!
