Cold Stone Creamery

The kids working make for a really unpleasant experience. Last time i went an older employee with glasses went outside for a break The kids were making fun of her and locked her out and when she came back in were bullying her. One employee was covered in hickeys and another was rude to coworkers and customers. Definitely an uncomfortable visit

I get the something everytime. I love cookies and cream shake. It definitely needs a refresher inside! Things are falling off the counter near the floor.

I am very new to the area but I have always loved Cold Stone Creamery. Ok, could this location use a little sprucing up? Absolutely! Could it be a tad cleaner? Sure! Its also a little dark inside, I must say. But everyone has always been very friendly with us and helpful. I have not had any issues with the staff or any purchases.
Love me some Cold Stone.

no one answered the phone.. when I got there I realized she was all by herself serving all the customers.. the whole store only have one staff.. my experience was great with her.. but the stores that have more staff

The best ice cream in the QCA.

I’m writing to share feedback regarding my visit to your Cold Stone Creamery location on Utica Ridge Road in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Earlier today, I visited the store specifically to try the Choco Taco. At the time, the store was not busy — there was only myself and one other family present. However, when I placed my order, the employee informed me that he did not have 10 minutes to make the waffle taco and stated he was too stressed to prepare it.

While I understand that working in customer service can be demanding, especially during peak times, this situation was surprising given the light foot traffic in the store. I was disappointed, especially since the Choco Taco appears to be a promoted item. I believe it’s important that staff are adequately trained and supported to fulfill menu items that are being actively advertised.

I hope this feedback is helpful, and I appreciate your attention to this matter.

Came in for the new taco with family and friends the kid at the counter was extremely rude and was saying he had 2 to make so it’ll be over 10 minutes I said we can wait while he continued to say it may be longer and yelling about it while they had some made. He didn’t apologize nor was he polite and the family in front of us said what’s his problem. Very dissapointed 7:59 7/20

Had hair in my 30 dollar quart of ice-cream! Nope not again! Can't even call someone

The ice cream was half melted as soon as they handed it to me and the waffle cone was stale.

We ordered a cake and come our pickup day this Thursday they never made the cake because the freezer wasn't working. Didn't call us nor no e mail no text message about it. Call the phone there and they pick it up and hang up 3 straight times today. Terrible communication but GREAT JOB for ruining our party yesterday, Thank You!!

Our favorite place in town

I just had the worst cold stone experience! I ordered online, waited several minutes for someone to come out to the front, then told my order was in the freezer. On my drive home I notice that there's writing on my receipt stating no mint, no pb cups and no waffle bowls. I turn around and go back to the store I asked the associate what I actually received in the order and he said vanilla and they didn't have time for the pb cups. I asked him what was actually in my order and he told me vanilla instead of mint. I asked him if I was refunded for the extra I ordered and didn't receive and he told me he couldn't do that. I asked for him to make it with sweet cream instead of vanilla, he told me they are the same thing. I asked him if they were out of peanut butter cups and he said they didn't have time to unwrap them (my order was done well before I got there). He reluctantly got the pb cups, but would not mix them in. several times he informed me he could refund my order and keep the order. I repeatedly told him i just wanted what I paid for! I got home and 2 of the 3 ice creams were not even mixed together! Plus sweet cream and French vanilla are not the same flavor!

The man working was amazing. We went in to get a cake, and he noticed before even I did and saw the cake was messed up and offered a discount for a new one. Thank you so much! I wish I got his name.

This experience was actually the worst I’ve had at an ice cream parlor. My husband and I ordered online an hour before closing, I ordered No One Lays a Finger on my Butterfinger with added brownie and he ordered Reese's Peanut Butter Awesome Sauce with extra Reese’s. It cost $20.
We drove 15 minutes home to realize all we were given were 1. A scoop of freezer burnt vanilla ice cream with no mix ins and a small brownie on top and 2. A scoop of freezer burnt vanilla with a Reese’s on top and no mix ins. By the time we returned to the store it was 8:55 pm, my husband went in to fix the order and was met with a response from the worker that “we don’t have butterfinger ice cream” which isn’t even used in No One Lays a Finger on my Butterfinger, and instead of stating this when we picked up our order and asking if we wanted something else he just gave us a scoop of vanilla with a brownie on top and had his back turned to us upon our arrival, almost avoiding us. I am highly upset because this cost me $20 all for nothing as we didn’t even eat the ice cream. I’m just confused as to why not having butterfinger ice cream means he couldn’t use the correct ice cream and add the other mix ins that are included in BOTH items such as the peanut butter ice cream, fudge, caramel for mine and the sweet cream ice cream and Reese’s and sauce for my husband.

Before I went I looked at the reviews, I saw everyone talking about the lack of customer care and I knew I had to visit this place. Personally I hate small talk I hate people asking how my day is and ColdStone did not disappoint haha. I’m sure there are “nicer” workers but the ones I got were straight forward and I loved it.

As for the ice cream, it was delicious! I don’t like waffles in my ice cream but this place makes em crunchy and sweet. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw them mixing the ice cream on a literal cold stone, we have machines that do the same thing faster, but I guess it’s to make it seem “exotic”.
