Heard this place was overrated and overpriced for what it was and now the patrons have spoken with their $$$ as news says it has shut the doors.

My review isn’t intended to be negative per se but the food wasn’t anything memorable or compelling enough to try again. We had the pimento cheese appetizer, and the French Dip with house chips for my primary course. Not bad but not above average.Service was good and the restaurant was clean and orderly.

Service was extremely slow! Food sat in window for more than 15 minutes! We waited 40 minutes from order to delivery! I ordered The Real Deal burger, cooked medium, and it came out as a briquette on the outside and raw in the middle! My wife had the specialBacon Ceese Curd burger and it was burnt all the way through!This was our first and LAST time here! We traveled from out of town to eat here and I feel they should reimburse our gas for driving here!

Went for the first time and was not disappointed. Breaded Tenderloin is really thick and salmon was perfectly done. Our waitress Ashlee was top notch. Definitely will be going back.

Terrible service, got hit with a 21% gratuity for my wife and I, charged 13 bucks for the wrong drink. No dinnerware to eat our appetizers with, acted as if we were not even there. Reached out to management before posting this so they could make it right. No response. Worst restaurant in the Quad Cities. Nobody has a clue what is going on. First and last visit. Do yourself a huge favor and go anywhere else, this place sucks!!

Me and my colleague stopped for dinner on Saturday evening.I enjoyed their burger and waffle fries.The food is priced well and cooked deliciously.I recommend this casual bar/restaurant.The service was good, and we had a good experience! 5/5

I've eaten here twice for lunch with friends. excellent food. there is a lunch special for $10. I had soup and a plantation salad. the Turkey veggie soup was amazing with large chunks of meat. the salad is the best I've ever had. all 4 of us loved what was ordered. clean and modern with a caring wait staff. this is not fast food!

Service was great. Food was ok. We had fish and chips that came with coleslaw and it sat under the lights so long it was warm. They kept all the food under the lights to keep warm but the cold food was so warm it was almost inedible. Steak was very very fatty. Onion rings with jalapeño was very good as our appetizer.

Ordered a chicken caesar salad for takeout. I don't like to post bad reviews but this was the most disappointing salad I have ever ordered. The romaine lettuce was so old I had to pick half of it out because it was brown and not edible. There were maybe 3 pieces total of shaved Parmesan. The chicken was dry. It was like throwing $15 in the garbage.

Only giving two stars. We were seated quickly but our waiter didn’t greet us for 10 minutes. Several workers walked past us so we weren’t really sure who our waiter even was at first. We were then brought waters and asked if we wanted to order an appetizer and we ordered the stuffed onion rings and went ahead and ordered our food. $12 for 4 onion rings with jalapeño cream cheese on top. It was good but I don’t feel it was worth $12. Then we each ordered a burger and sweet potato fries and the food is decent but we ordered our burgers medium well & they were almost burnt. Our waiter never came back over to check on us until we were done eating and we then asked for our check. While I was eating I could see the kitchen and all of the food that was cooked and just waiting for someone to take to the tables. One person was doing that by himself and the food was piling up. I saw the cook two different times recording with his phone all of the food sitting there.. not sure why he was doing that but still found it strange. Overall disappointed at the lack of service this place has and how much we spent on a below average meal. Hopefully this place can do better in the future although we won’t be back.

Super friendly staff. The food was awesome! Philly cheesesteak egg rolls 10/10. Jumping Jack burger 9/10. Just a touch juicier but super amazing. The fries were 10/10. Slightly Crispy outer edge and the taste was perfect. Also had the Baked Turkey Sub 9.5/10. Moist and great flavor. On the pricey side I would say. But well pleased with everything and will definitely come back.

The Combine is a restaurant that I have heard mixed reviews about, so we decided to give it a try. The general manager Is Gus Sullivan. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and quickly seated. Our server was very attentive and checked several times to be sure everything was ok. I had the ribeye which I ordered rare. My steak was perfect, my wife had the pork tenderloin which she said was also very good. Our friend had the ribeye sandwich which she was very happy with. We had old fashions that were great. Gus has done a great job with this establishment and we will be back.
