Don Juan Mexican Cocina

We went here to have dinner for my birthday. It's a nice small place and it was really busy. The food was so delicious but they took forever to get it to us. We will be back for sure, but I just wish they got our food faster!

First time I had it was amazing ! Second time I ordered from the phone and miss ma’am was rude. And then I got my food there was no guacamole with my enchilada dinner . And I also asked for beef and got chicken , and pork as well. If I was allergic then you’d have a law suit on your hands . Do better. It also wasn’t as tasty as the first time.

10/10 Don Juan Mexican Cocina has the yummiest Mexican food and beverages! It is located at 5-Points in Davenport.

Well I ate their steak burritos many times but this time not good. I don't know if it was a new cook or what it was bad.

I don't like handing bad reviews out but this is deserved, Don Juan won't be on my list to visit ever again. Twice I've ordered nachos and twice the quality and quantity lacked. Taste wasn't horrible but not a good as when it was Azteca, now the quantity REALLY was disappointing as the container was about half full and lacking cheese and beef. They no longer give a bag of chips with it now either! Yea I was really disappointed.

Overcharged food was wrong. When I asked and spoke to a “manager” I’ve never seen before she told me there’s nothing they could do. Called back and got the same message.

Never heard of it, Google maps showed it when I searched for birria. Holy moly all things holy.... PHENOMENAL!

This is where you want to go for Mexican food. The rice was great and moist, usually at many restaurants, the rice is dry. Not here. Full of flavor.

The birria/consumme was the best I've had. Shocking to say that, because my main place in my home town has been my favorite.

Had a margarita too. Not sure what tequila they use for their well drinks but it tasted great.

Can't wait to come back!
