Fun experience with some amazing food. Love this place
This place is an absolute gem! The passion Chef has for his restaurant is obvious the moment you walk in the door, or why you observe and interact with the staff, this is a well oiled machine! I travel exclusively for work and always look for unique places to eat that are not chains, and Duck City delivers. It’s amazing that a small bistro in Davenport, IA can compete with any place in any city, large or small. Highly recommend and I’ll be back
Great atmosphere and presentation unlike anything else in the Midwest!
Duck City is one of my favorites! The food is always amazing and I never leave disappointed.
Place is trash. Chef is a Loser
If you find yourself in Davenport, Duck City Bistro is an absolute must! The food, wine, and service are nothing short of exceptional. Chef Jeremy has crafted an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting, making every visit a memorable experience. From start to finish, everything about this restaurant is top-notch—it's truly a dining experience you can't miss!

5 stars under-rates the experience that Chef Jeremy and staff put on. We were a group of 18 and each of us was extremely pleased.
His dishes off the menu were outstanding, and the Chef does not hesitate to describe them with pride.

I have been traveling for business for over 25 years. Duck City is a must stop every time I am in Davenport. This is quite simply a well run restaurant with outstanding people that treat you like family. Even if I’m not overly hungry, I’ll stop in for a small bite and a drink and it’s always a delightful experience. I will keep coming back for that reason. Very well done.

I enjoyed the experience and all the food, for our party of nine, was excellent.
The tables were a little close but manageable as a guest.

My wife and I went to Duck City Bistro to celebrate our anniversary, expecting a fine dining experience, but we were sadly disappointed. The service was disorganized, and it was clear that the staff lacked proper training, both in the kitchen and among the waiting staff.
The biggest issue, however, was with the owner, who not only appeared to be on a power trip but also refused to take responsibility when my steak was served very rare, despite ordering it medium-rare. A $70 steak should be cooked correctly, and a professional establishment should own up to mistakes, not dismiss them. This lack of accountability left a sour note on what should have been a special night.
If you're looking for a better dining experience with top-notch service and well-prepared food, I highly recommend Steventon's, Ruthie's Steak & Seafood, or Monarch - Kitchen & Bar. These establishments consistently deliver quality and professionalism.

Best doggone dining experience of my life, and I'm not bragging, but this is coming from a U.S. diplomat who's lived all over the world! From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by pretty much everything. Even the outside of the building is gorgeous! When we stepped inside, we were greeted by the best server in the entire Quad Cities area: Dillon (with two "ll's")!! All night, Di!!on anticipated our every need. Make sure you ask to be seated at one of his tables! Di!!on carefully and patiently explained the menu options, and then listened, and I mean REALLY listened, to our preferences so that he could make the perfect recommendation for each of us. I followed his sage advice and had the Mahi Mahi, which was pure heaven! Di!!on also gets 6+ stars (out of 5) for bringing me the most incredible smoky martini thingie. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it, but all you need to know is code word Di!!on. The owner/chef Jeremy Charles is a true force of nature with a unique talent for performance art. I would advise you to quickly get on board or get the hell out of Chef's way! I, for one, am fully on board and can't wait to go back for more. Care to join me?

Best restaurant east and west of the Mississippi! Duck City Bistro is our family’s favorite restaurant and where we go for all of our special occasions. The food is always superb, and the service is personalized and reflects the excellence in every aspect of the experience here.

Overpriced and not enough choices on the menu. I would like Duck L'orange instead of salmon or steak or pork chops or chicken. With a high end restaurant you should be able to do that. I turn my nose down on that because there are not enough choices to make people want to go there. Also - too loud and we have to yell to hear each other on the same table.
