I recommend the classes and collection. For me, teaching at the Figge gives me a very different point of view. To be able to use the entire collection as a living reference is a dream come true. The combination of our staff’s strong commitment to the best of the best and giving back to the Quad Cities a glimpse of an international collection- WoW!
The museum has a lot of exhibits. Everything from the renaissance to the contemporary. With both permanent and traveling exhibits, there was something to keep a group of six of us all interested.
Some of my favorite exhibits were the hanging glass corn, Fire and water, Apsaalooke Feminist, and string art.
(* museum admission not needed)Food quality and service was great, much more than what I expected from a museum cafe...just not good for a short lunch break as food may come a bit late. Also would be great if they had espresso coffees.
