Flips definitely has good breakfast. Four of us have been here at least a couple of times and it’s constantly good. This trip I had their chicken and waffle. It was served hot and was clearly cooked with care. The fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious. All up, breakfast for four was just over eighty bucks, $100 tipped.
Today went to the Utica Ridge location for first time. Only about 3 tables with people. 3 staff gathered at front counter. Taken to our table right away. Reviewed menus. Sat and sat for probably 15 minutes for someone to come and take drink order. Temperature was chilly. Server had the personality of a mouse- I inquired about upgrading pancake to specialty pancake and she said could not do that could only do pancake with various fruits. So I ordered whole serving of specialty...
The cinnamon roll pancakes are so decadent and delicious it feels like it should be illegal. The carnivore omelette was the perfect dose of morning protein to balance out the sugar coma from the pancakes. Don't sleep on this place, it's phenomenal.
