Great American Cookies

Needs to be removed from DoorDash delivery services. It is not a very respectful company to delivery drivers I’ve been a delivery driver for three months and I’ve never had a on-time order from this company. They’re very disrespectful to offer a DoorDash service knowing that their cookies take an hour plus to cook. It’s a waste of the driver’s gas and disrespectful to humanity. It just tells you how entitled the business owner thinks they are. You can’t ride off the back of other people

We got a birthday cookie it wasn't made when we got there I paid in advance for it my husband had to wait 45 minutes for them to make it. We were late to our function.

Just don’t waste your time. Last few times we had awful experiences, pre-ordered 4 dozen cookies through THEIR website and was told they didn’t have the order which I had conformation and card was charged via Great American Cookies. The worker “helping” me less than helpful to say the least. Micheal should have never sold it to whoever owns it now, they suck. The cookies are inconsistent, would have just bought some from the case but they looked old, dry and all different colors. This franchise is going to get run into the ground the way they operate.

Worker was very rude. We were looking at the options and prices of the cookies, however, she kept on rushing and forcing us to find a cookie. And this was all under a minute of even arriving. They were not close to closing either.

I'm an out of town guest and my wife noticed the cookies and said that we should try them. She was right! The cookies were delicious and the customer service was great! The deals that they offer for the cookies are very reasonable. I'll be back!

The root of a great business model is to listen to the customer. If I (who am willing to pay for a cookie cake) want a specific design, I should be able to order that with no hassle. This store does not listen to your needs. Even the manager wasn’t able to accommodate to my design because “the cake was too small for the design”. She was the one I spoke to. WOW. Unbelievable and rude. Save your money and go to another store with staff that treat you better.

Cookies are good but most of the staff are rude and seemed annoyed to see me. I typically come in for 3 slices of the cookie cake (they’ll know exactly who this is now). Every single one of them except for the teenager exhibit this behavior. I’ve literally seen them roll their eyes, scoff, and have been told off for the purchases of three at a time, which surprises me considering money is money doesn’t matter where it comes from, not surprised they don’t understand. Im sure I exhibit more patience than anyone else would when treated like this and I’m not sure what their issue is or if I’m the only one treated like this. Cookies are fine but staff is terrible. Way worse then any fast food restaurant, it’s almost like that’s the atmosphere that’s pushed. Sort of an embarrassment since the other ones in the Midwest don’t have such rude staff

Went to pick up my daughters cookie cake, was paid for on the 20th, was suppose be picked up the 24th at 1 o clock. I get there give the name they don’t have it! Then asks me to step to side to help other people why they figure it out. Other people ask for their cookie cake…they don’t have it. They go look for it another guy comes they ask can I help you? He says he has a cookie cake they can’t find it…after finding there cakes they still never found mine. Gave me 1000 excuses told me I went to wrong one maybe or did I order online. I tell them no. I ask to speak to a manager 5 times until finally the employee gives me her phone with Kelli on it… she was horrible with the situation very unprofessional an kept telling me she couldn’t find a recite…I tell her I have a half hour to get to my daughters party she asked how can I make it better? I said I need a cake that says happy birthday with my daughters name a for free for the huge mess up. She tells me no she can’t do that so I say I need to talk to someone above you she says “there is no one above me I am the owner” so she could of helped me the way I wanted if she wanted to…so I tell her refund my money will go to hyvee she says she can’t refund whole thing bcz I got a cookie the day I ordered the cake…I laughed am said I guess I got a free cookie an my daughter don’t get anything…she finally after a hour refunded my money…I WOULD/will NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN!!!!

I've bought the large cookies, for graduation s and birthday parties. So far no issues from ordering on phone and in person.

Mistakenly thought this place was closed (old location by Orange Julius), it's by the mall side entrance to JC Penney's down the hall towards the parking lot. Double Doozies are the best, LOVE that white frosting. Some day I'd order the cookie cake double-doozie style! You can't beat their traditional chocolate chip cookies!
