Went to pick up my daughters cookie cake, was paid for on the 20th, was suppose be picked up the 24th at 1 o clock. I get there give the name they don’t have it! Then asks me to step to side to help other people why they figure it out. Other people ask for their cookie cake…they don’t have it. They go look for it another guy comes they ask can I help you? He says he has a cookie cake they can’t find it…after finding there cakes they still never found mine. Gave me 1000 excuses told me I went to wrong one maybe or did I order online. I tell them no. I ask to speak to a manager 5 times until finally the employee gives me her phone with Kelli on it… she was horrible with the situation very unprofessional an kept telling me she couldn’t find a recite…I tell her I have a half hour to get to my daughters party she asked how can I make it better? I said I need a cake that says happy birthday with my daughters name a for free for the huge mess up. She tells me no she can’t do that so I say I need to talk to someone above you she says “there is no one above me I am the owner” so she could of helped me the way I wanted if she wanted to…so I tell her refund my money will go to hyvee she says she can’t refund whole thing bcz I got a cookie the day I ordered the cake…I laughed am said I guess I got a free cookie an my daughter don’t get anything…she finally after a hour refunded my money…I WOULD/will NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN!!!!

Mistakenly thought this place was closed (old location by Orange Julius), it's by the mall side entrance to JC Penney's down the hall towards the parking lot. Double Doozies are the best, LOVE that white frosting. Some day I'd order the cookie cake double-doozie style! You can't beat their traditional chocolate chip cookies!

Apparently this place is getting ripped off by people pretending to be mall employees so much that when real mall employees want to buy something, they need to see proof. I came by, still in my work clothes and name tag, after work to bring some cookies home to my kids and I was treated like an imposter who wasn’t worthy of the small discount they offer. I won’t be coming around anymore. RIP Northpark Mall Great American Cookie.

Please understand, I have been a very loyal customer at the Northpark Mall store for the last 27 years. When I asked for the mall employee discount on the cookies I was taking home to my young children, I was asked to see my .... (Some kind of proof of being a mall employee). I work for a discount magazine outlet store in the old Sears wing so I don't have an employee identification card. I had literally just ended my shift and was still in my work polo and name tag. The girl fumbled around with the computer screen as I decided this wasn't worth my money nor my time. I'll get some cookies from HyVee on the way home to treat my little ones with. I'm so sorry you guys keep getting ripped off so frequently by people pretending to work in the mall that I couldn't get whatever small percentage off that you offer to only card-holding mall employees.

Horrible experience. Ordered a cookie cake over the phone and when I went to pick it up it wasn’t ready. I was then informed it needed to be paid for in advance, which I tried to do when I ordered the cookie but was told to just pay for it when I picked it up. The lady was less than helpful and blew off the situation as if it was no big deal. Simply said she would let the other worker who took the phone order know that it needed to be paid for in advance. She didn’t seem to apprehend that the situation was caused by an employee who was obviously not properly trained on the store’s “policy.” Now I have no cookie cake for my son’s birthday party.

We ordered a cookie and paid ahead of time since it was a special request (this coming from the store). It was supposed to be ready by 1230 today. When my son went to pick it up he was told they did not have such an order. By the time my wife was able to call and cancel the order (at this point we would rather do business with someone else) since they already started to make the order a refund was not possible due to the owner's policy of no refunds/discounts. I would give this zero stars if possible and will do my best to let everybody else know to find someone that appreciates your business and not to go to Great American Cookie Co.

Called 2/2 to order a cookie for today 2/3. Gave her my card information over the phone and she said I was good to go. Go to pick up the cookie and they never made it, said it wasn’t paid for when indeed it was paid for because the money was pulled from my account. Offered to make it if I wanted to wait, which I didn’t have time to do. Would not give me a coupon, voucher or anything for the inconvenience of their screwup. So irritating. Ended up having them make it for tomorrow after celebrating my husband’s birthday TODAY ?

This place has gone down hill so fast. They lose your order that you order almost a week in advance. My son's graduation cookie I paid for the large rectangle and it was so miss shaped. I was told the owner would be getting a hold of me to talk about the problem and that has yet to happen. I have always ordered my cookies from here. I will now be finding a new place. I would give it ZERO stars if I could
