Why bother posting a menu list or a link to a menu that has prices from 4 years ago? $4.50 for a burger? Yeah, right. A year ago I ordered burgers and appetizers over the phone and, when I arrived, I was shocked when the bill was nearly DOUBLE the online prices. I guess that's on me for not asking for a total when I ordered. As much as I hate Iowa, Davenport in particular, the Hawkeye is, and will ALWAYS be, ur typical Midwest “dive bar” - which isn’t always a bad thing. Cheap drinks, great food! It’s the “gold standard” for what a dive bar is and what it truly should be. Ppl need to realize the owner has better things to do besides harass u about a service dog. Called in as we were near to pick up some food, did not have drinks. They sent my call to food guy. was great food, great service. I had the burger n fries, buddy had the wings.. both were great! but honestly the service from the guy grill was amazing, great attitude and outgoing!
