The only two items I ordered that they got correct were the fries. Gave me a 3 with everything on it and a 7 with cheese. I ordered a 3 without cheese and plain. Also a 7 with lettuce, tomato, onions, yellow mustard, and provolone. The whole time I’m waiting the employees are yapping about whether or not dog slippers would be allowed at work because they said no crocs but didn’t specify. Focus on the food please. Will not be returning anytime soon.

The women working there were very polite and friendly, the food was good. I'd definitely eat there again.
Absolutely sad. The girl at the counter had a lisp when she talked and her name was Ashley. She was very nice and waited on me right away. However the woman in the back that was making the food was absolutely terrible and should be ashamed of herself! Her name is Mariah. She kept sighing at the fact that there were customers coming in. She was also so upset and mean to the other girl working. She told her not to even look at her otherwise she was going to get really mad. She also kept telling her she needed to lock the door and it wasn’t even time to close yet. It seemed that Ashley may have had some type of disability and was being intimidated. This needs to be addressed ASAP!!

Ordered a veggie sandwich, asked to add mayo, onions & peppers. Got home to find they only put cheese, mayo, onions and peppers…no lettuce or tomatoes. Makes zero sense considering the veggie sandwich is supposed to be “loaded” with lettuce tomatoes and cheese per their menu. Not happy and won’t be going back.*Update - I sent in a complaint on their website and I was told that the Veggie sandwich is actually a cheese sandwich…makes zero sense, should just call it a cheese sandwich. So if you’re getting the Veggie just know you have to order the veggies….

Driving through town we picked this off of a Google search for "vegetarian friendly," but I think it's closer to "vegetarian tolerant." For instance, the veggie sandwich on the menu has no veggies. Without any sort of description, my family was baffled when we were asked if we wanted the "extras," and when my husband declined, got a cheese sandwich, in which neither the cheese nor bread was anything worth getting excited about. I did add the extras to mine, so I at least got tomatoes and lettuce? Why they do not just call this a cheese sandwich is a mystery to me, as is the lack of descriptions for the sandwiches anywhere. I hoped the cheese fries would make up for it, but it was just fries with a cup of nacho cheese paste on the side? Again, it was fine, I suppose.
Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options on the menu, which is nice, but everything we tried was disappointing. Fine if your vegetarian preferences are processed cheese and starch.

Hungry Hobo needs to start being open more for in door service.The Bettendorf one never should've moved!!The new building is a waste.I hate that it went drive up too.Still love the sandwich, just not the same.

We had never been to a Hungry Hobo before, but decided to give it a shot. That being said, If you really enjoy a bland mediocre at best sandwich this is your spot! Eating a plate of my own crap would be more enjoyable. This place SUCKS!

This place is fine. I ordered a rueben and cheese curds and I got a reuben and cheese curds. Wasn't great but wasn't bad either. My wife had the chili and thought it was good and it had fresh onions on top. The people are nice!

I visited this location for lunch today. Tuesdays they have a special on the taco taco which is my favorite. I also sent multiple employees and customers of mine today to also take part in this special. I was informed after I paid that it would take about 8 minutes for the potato and I agreed. About 20 minutes later I went back to the front and asked about my food. They didn't know what I was waiting for and lost my order. The manager in the back just sat there and looked at me. Never got up to come speak to me or ask questions or resolve the issue. The staff scrambled to fix it. I asked if I could have something else while I waited and the manager very rudely said no. I asked her what can we do then? and she just sat there so I asked for my money back which she did not do, she had the staff do. And then my potato came 30 minutes later and it was made wrong. Very poor management in this location sadly because I love hungry hobo and visit often. Managers should be dealing with complaints, not the staff. They should be getting off their butts and speaking to their customers, not the staff. They should be expediting orders and overseeing flow of the store, but she sat there and did nothing but rudely refuse to allow me free food for the inconvenience or offer anything whatsoever.
