Happy Joe's Pizza & Jungle Bungle - W. 50th

Huge shout out to Happy Joe's Pizza & Jungle Bungle - W. 50th took my kiddos here tonight for the first time and had a blast. Staff was off the charts helpful and entertaining. The "Jungle" is massive and the slides are crazy. My 2 and 4 year olds freaked out when they walked in. Pizzas(2 large) were fire and the cheese sticks (we got the large order as well) all the food fed 2 adults, a 9 year old and my littles with plenty of left overs for the late night snack fest. Making this a trip at least a couple times a month from now on when we wanna unwind locally. 100% recommended this for anyone with hyper kiddos.

Pizza was excellent. We ordered fresh from the kitchen and it was very good. Our friends did the buffet and a lot of the pizza had been out there for a while and was very crunchy, but they swapped it all out for fresh pizza shortly after and it was good for them too.
The kids loved the arcade games and climbing area. Could have been cleaner, but it was maintained pretty well overall.
There were a lot of flies buzzing around too.

Pizza quality has gone downhill over the years. Joe cared about making a product people would enjoy. The current ownership seems more interested in making a cheaper product they can make higher profits off. The games are way overpriced. It's sad what the place has become, just a money grab.

Absolutely terrible! Scheduled for a birthday party a month in advance. Didn’t get half of what we were supposed. Pizza took over an hour and a half because they messed up and then we had to keep going to the desk to ask what happened and finally the manager came down and said they messed. We repeatedly asked for the cups for our drinks, utensils, the “birthday cake”, ice cream, and play cards. The place was a mess and the bathrooms were absolutely horrid. I was not asking for a discount but better service. They gave a 10% discount. My daughter was supposed to get party favors and they threw a paper hat our way with a ball and said sorry that’s all we have. When we finally got our pizza they asked when we planned on leaving the room and demanded we pay right away. Do NOT waste your money.

Needs updated badly. The service was very slow and they weren't busy.

Had my son’s birthday party here, I’d 10 out of 10 recommend! The food was fresh, and the staff was very nice! Jeremy, Quavelle, & Aniyah ensured that our family had the best time!

We visited Happy Joe's a week ago, Izzy the manager who was on duty was very friendly and helpful during our visit. She was very professional, and provided excellent customer service! Thank you for making our dine in experience wonderful! The pizza was amazing as well!

I want this restaurant to succeed - I grew up with Happy Joes, enjoy their pizza, but I can no longer accept the continued disappointments. I ordered a 1/2 Happy Joes Special and 1/2 Sausage & Mushroom. The pizza was a complete combo of all these ingredients, and did not include extra sauce as requested. I waited at the pick up line for 45 minutes. There were 3 cars in line. I honked (at the window) but had to call the restaurant to get someone to come to the window. There were 2 cars in the parking lot, so it was not busy inside the restaurant. They ran out of Medium size crust so they gave me a large - and also CHARGED me for a large. It seems this location can never get it right. I give up.

This wasn't a great experience, but they apparently were extremely busy (It was 1/1/2025). First, the BLT pizza arrived an hour after the expected delivery time I was given. Second, it was very cold and third if you look at my picture the outside 2 to 3 inches of the pizza was just crust, no fixings. Finally with the $6.50 delivery charge and $5 driver tip, it ran me a little over $41.00. Very disappointing.

Hot delivery waited 1hr 15min past delivery time . Called them to ask what happend and no answers. This location used to be amazing disappointed it's fallen so far.

All good things must come to an end and jungle bungle is no exception. Jungle Bungle has been a tradition in our family for years. While the jungle gym part is only a skeleton of what is was back in the day, my kids always enjoyed it.
To start off, a google search said that they opened at 8:00. When we arrived all the doors were locked. Upon calling the store we found out that they are open for deliveries at 8 but that the physical store did not open until 11:00.
At some point between last year and this year they changed the arcade portion and now all of their games cost at least 1.25 per play and some are even $4.00. There are significant less game options and the cost is just outrageous for a family.
We would always order the overpriced pizza and drinks because we were able to make an afternoon of it. Now $40 in the arcade barely lasted 15 minutes. While it is sad to see it go we will be looking for a new activity for the family that is worth our money and time.
