La Flama Mexican Restaurant

Excellent day to have lunch at LaFlama. The food was so hot when served that we had to wait a bit for it to cool. The food is seasoned, but not too spicy. Great service from Susie and cold beverages made this a great stop for a gloomy Saturday. New hours effective 12/04/2025.

If I could give it less than a star I would. Out of all the Mexican restaurants I've had around Rock Island and Moline this has to be the worst. This place reminded of how bad food can be and how misguided the other reviews are on here for this restaurant.

I eat here once a week, I love the staff, the food reminds me of my time in New Mexico. I order something different whenever I go there. The soup is beyond heaven. The Wednesday special is the big burrito. I unwrap it and it just melts in your mouth. The staff are fabulous. Very friendly and kind. The restaurant is clean and homey. Breakfast all day, and so is everything on the menu. I love that they are in Rock Island.

Terrific lunch spot, kind and quick staff

This place has the BEST salsa and chips. Everything I've tasted from here has been delicious. I only wish they were open longer every day.

Great food for a good price.

My 7 year of daughter and I absolutely love this place! I had the chilaquiles and I definitely recommend them. My daughter had cookies and cream waffles and those were good too. Service is always very good here. 100% recommend eating here 😊

Such a great experience. Leslie was our server... very kind and knowledgeable. The food was DELICIOUS. Tortilla chips were served hot and fresh. We had chicken and rice, berries burrito, and flautas. It looked as incredible as it tasted. We're driving thru on vacation, but would definitely stop again. Thank you for a great experience!
