This is absolutely the best chocolate I’ve had in any state I’ve lived in. We went for their famous hot fudge sundae and a Quad City special. The ice cream is exceptionally smooth and creamy, and with the hot fudge and whipped cream, it is a heavenly treat. The Quad City special has strawberry and vanilla ice cream with strawberries, bananas and whipped cream. We could not resist the allure of the candy counter and took home a huge caramel apple and a pound of mixed chocolates....

The historical photos and artifacts on the walls plus the quaint booths and tables take you back in time to an Old World soda fountain shop. The ice cream sundaes are amazing and service, friendly and impeccable. Then there are the chocolates - gazing through the long, wooden-framed glass display case is like looking through a jeweler's display, but these are edible jewels! High quality, delicious chocolates that must be savored. What a glorious experience. Go there. Now....

Best chocolate you'll ever taste. Handmade candies and ice creams. Bit pricey, but worth every penny. Make this a stop on your roadtrip, or while out running errands, won't regret it!

6/26/25 - 8 years later, and this place still amazes me! Brought my kids for their first time (first of many!) today, and they loved it!

The caramel crunch sundae is phenomenal today as it was 8 years back.
