Ate lunch here recently while visiting my son at school. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice clean friendly place with great food. The server I got was a little distant, but the host was great and suggested several items. I got a steak sandwich and it was pretty good. There cheese curds for awesome. My wife had the pork loin sandwich and loved it. I was able to get a taste, and it was definitely the best pork tenderloin sandwich I’ve ever had bar none. My son had one of the hamburgers and he really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to visit him and visit this restaurant again.

We were visiting in Moline. Our friends suggested we go to Me & Billy's, and we're so glad they did. The curds appetizer was perfection. My chicken & dumplings soup was wonderful (don't forget to ask for the big slice of toast for a dollar), and my husband said he had one of the best burgers he could ever remember. Reasonable prices, and our waiter was attentive, as well. A little noisy, but what bar/restaurant isn't nowadays?

My husband and I were staying in nearby Bettendorf and were looking for a good place for lunch. Found this place during a google search and after checking their trip advisor reviews decided to try it. Wow. Amazing service from Brett. Food was outstanding. We shared the pomme frites, delicious. The chicken dumpling soup really hit the spot. Hubby had the steak sandwich and I had the pork tenderloin sandwich. We couldn’t finish them. Yum. Met the real Billy, super nice guy.

Me & Billy (owners: Brubaker, Flynn & Darland: Food was at expectation, but the front-door manager, I believe named Mary, was dismissive and rude. Her attitude toward my wife and 2 year old daughter was unwelcoming and unprofessional. As someone who runs multiple establishments, I’d strongly suggest retraining or replacing her—she’s not the image a great restaurant like Me & Billy deserves, asking simple questions on entrees and drinks she strongly did not recommend as her daughter created them, we felt truly bad for the employees especially the staff she was demeaning in front of multiple guests.
I loved everything about my experience at Me & Billy! Here are a few highlights I’d love to shout out: 1) Pescatarian/vegetarian options. As a pescatarian, I usually find myself with 1 or 2 options on a menu at any restaurant. However, at Me & Billy, I had 5-6, not including dessert or customizations! I ended up going with a build-your-own portobello burger with all (and I do mean all) the vegetarian fixings, and it was AMAZING. I’ve never been so happy with a sandwich! 2) Y’all, the FISHBOWLS. We ordered one on special, and what a great combination economic/delectable choice. Crushed ice, rum or vodka, and strawberry puree. Perfect for a lazy Saturday! 3) The ambiance. Me & Billy is a beautifully decorated space with clean lines, natural lighting, and an old-world touch with the classic bar. Special attention was clearly paid to the comfort of guests with the spacious bathrooms (not just metal stalls!) and purse hooks under every table. 4) The staff. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The owner even came out to say hello!
We will absolutely be coming back! Thank you to the servers, cooks, and all involved for making our time at Me & Billy so lovely!

Our server Jack was super cool an handled his job insanely well. Top notch food, amazing service, the atmosphere was very relaxing, the taste in music is phenomenal, overall a very pleasant experience. I will be bringing my own family around. The chocolate cake was incredible and well presented. I love this place. My heart swelled when the damily beside us paid for everything and even got us the cake. I’m coming back for 100% certain. 67/10
