Last summer we stopped a Mission BBQ in Chattanooga on the recommendation of friend that lives there. It was soooooo good and we have been craving it ever since.
On Friday we decided to drive 2.5 hours to this location, from just west of Des Moines, as it is the closest one to us.
It was also sooooo good!
Staff were great and very attentive!
Food came out fast, hot, and delicious. Portion sizes are perfect in my opinion. Got the 5 bone rib, cheesy potatoes, and blueberry cobbler! Ribs literally fall off the bone even with the slightest pressure. All of the sauces were tasty but I did the smoky mountain mixed with Texas Pete hot sauce the perfect sweet to spice combo. Came with a side of cornbread that was sweet fluffy and filling. Had a honey like taste to it as well. Added some honey heat sauce to take it up a notch...read full review
Mission Bbq in Rockford Illinois did my daughters wedding and it was amazing. From the food to the servers so friendly. All i can say is Thank you so much
