Visiting from California wanted some good bbq was Mission was recommended by family friend . Very tasty but didn’t have regular ribs baby backs only. They ran out of chicken and Mac n cheese and was still near 2.5 hours to be open. But overall the food was really good .Kyleigh and the manager personally came over and apologized for no Mac n cheese and did find some along with some chicken thanks Bill “manager” and Ms Kyleigh for everything see u next time. Also gave some sweet potato pie was good too.

I can't say enough great things about Mission BBQ! The quality of their food is amazing and so delicious! The pulled pork, turkey or brisket are so tender and melt in your mouth. The Mac n Cheese is on another level. The atmosphere at Mission is so proudly patriotic and the staff are so helpful and friendly! Thank you for all you do to support and recognize our Military and First Responders!We also used Mission BBQ for catering at my office. Melissa B was so easy and wonderful to work with. Our staff raved about the food!! They'll continue to be a regular option when we cater food in at work.

Some my coworkers and I are here from out of town. My coworker said that the mission barbecue was the best barbecue food I’ve ever put in my mouth so I tried it I called and I spoke to Matt who was really friendly. I got there to pick up my food and I talked to Matt again, he was so informative. Explain to me why they don’t do Uber eats or DoorDash. He almost made me wish I would’ve got my food to stay instead of to go. If he’s not the manager, he should be, and if he is the manager he definitely deserves a raise .

Second time we've come to Mission BBQ.. we miss the places in San Antonio so when we tried this place, we found ourselves excited to find a place up here, that, while not the SAME as home is wonderful to go to and whenever we're in davenport, we stop for food and get extra to take back home. In San Antonio or best place to go to was gradys or to Bill Miller's tbh we loved bills cause they had so much stuff AND BBQ, but I miss Rudy's the very most. I would put mission right up there with Rudy's, wish they had the creamed corn Rudy's has but we can't always have what we wish for and we love being able to eat at Mission. People r friendly and helpful and wide variety. And they had Big Red in bottles!! A super plus

Super high quality restaurant with 10/10 service. By far the best restaurant I have ever been to. Food was amazing. 6 different bbq sauces waiting on the table. Glass bottled classic drinks sitting on ice as soon as you walk in the door. Free sandwich coupon from the chef for a first time customer. And free samples from the chef along with a fantastic conversation about family veterans and mission bbq history. Highly recommend!

I have been there several times and always had brisket which is great! The last time I was there I ordered Prime Rib it was luke warm and not very tender. So next time I'll try something else. But I will still go

Staff is very friendly and accommodating , food is outstanding, portions are generous, great flavor,I've been there several times, each time I go i try different things, i plan on trying everything on the menu, can't wait to try their prime rib, we were given samples of their brisket. Can't say enough about the staff and food, a must try .
