A rare big city feel while still being intimate. The bartenders are the best ever! They are really friendly and great at crafting premium cocktails! A true gem for downtown Davenport!“

“Only good thing about this place is the view. Went last night to celebrate a birthday and I spent more time waiting for my beer than being able to sit down and enjoy my time. 10+ minute wait for a beer with only 5 People around the bar is pretty ridiculous. Needless to say I was pretty upset by the end of the night.“

“My family and I were very well accommodated by Colleen (manager) and Erica (server/bartender) for what was an amazing area to host a graduation dinner for family and friends. This private, elegant area would also make a great space for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, etc. I was obsessed and we were so so lucky to have exceptional service for a short-notice event. We enjoyed the broad selection of drinks from the bar and the delicious food. My favorites were the Mo’ Dough appetizer and the Fowl Play turkey sandwich.“

“Grew up eating porkies. Glad to see their food and prices still beat others. Home cooked food and great prices. 3 dinners cost me $23. Anywhere else I go the least I pay for 3 dinners is $40. Do not sleep on porkies! Breakfast and dinner, both are good and never disappoint.“

“I try to never give 5 stars because someone once told me that if you were to give top ratings to everyone and everything then noone would ever try to improve. And in my humble opinion, you should always strive and there's always room for improvement! They nailed the atmosphere tho! “This is an original Maid-Rite diner! It's well maintained and clean. If you love loose meat sandwichs, great breakfast and the Midwest's best handmade shakes stop here.
The waitress was friendly, nice, and made sure I had everything I needed.
It's an open kitchen so you can watch the cook prepare your food.
Comfortable booths, clean tables and lots of counter space.
I highly recommend this Maid-Rite.“

“For the longest time I'd drive past and see the sign that appeared to just say Restaurant and say I should go to Restaurant and try food and say hi to waitress. Tonight my girlfriend and I finally stopped in and the whole experience was lovely and felt like the perfect cozy place to sit and enjoy a meal and each other's company. I ordered the western burger which was juicy and perfectly topped with BBQ sauce, pickle, bacon, tomato, and lettuce. My girlfriend had the most tender liver and onions I have ever seen in my life to where I was wondering if I should have ordered it myself. We did start with an appetizer of the onion rings. The rings were perfectly breaded, had no excess oil anywhere to be found and had a crisp audible crunch every time you bit into them. Add to this experience a quiet dining area with a well varied soup and salad bar which I was glad to see had pickled beets which are a personal favorite and that the staff are very on top of refills of your beverages and making sure you have all you need. The meal was well worth the trip and we will be back.“
