We ate here on a Saturday morning. We were at one of four filled tables. The service was poor. We waiting 15 minutes to order drinks. We ordered food at the same time and it took almost 45 more minutes for our food to come out. We didn’t have any utensils, and the server was not paying attention to our table, so my husband had to get up and ask for utensils. This was after also getting up to ask for something to stir our coffee with. The same thing happened when we needed coffee refills and had been waiting. The table next to us was also waiting for drinks. He went to the counter. When the server came from the kitchen she looked at him, didn’t acknowledge him, and went to greet someone at the door. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich with shaved steak. The steak pieces were hard and unable to be chewed and tasted like it was soaked in A1 sauce. He sent it back, explaining why he couldn’t eat it. He did not order anything else, because we didn’t have time to wait longer. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the poor quality item and it remained on our bill. The decor overall is fun and upbeat, but I would not have taken my daughter there if I knew there were penises on the wall under a sign that says “ I liked it so it’s mine.”

I tried giving this new location a try and with an open mind after being previously disappointed by a custom cake order at the old location. It’s safe to the only thing that changed was that Emma who was bar tending was nice at taking my groups drink order. Other than that it’s over priced drinks that didn’t taste good.

Parking: Street parking in front of the building. Business is also right next to a parking ramp.

We went here twice. The first time was bad but we thought perhaps they were just having an off day, as that happens - so we went back for a second time and it was equally disappointing. The first time we went we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the counter to take our order for the to go desserts that we wanted to order. We ordered a birthday cake cookie (around $5.75) which was pretty but tasteless, a small almond flour cookie which was beautifully decorated frosting (also $5.75) and disappointingly tasteless. We didn't finish them because they were so bad. The second time we went, we actually sat down to eat. Service was slow, they were out of the entree I wanted to order, so I chose something else which the menu inaccurately described-- the menu describes it as more of a breakfast platter and makes no mention of bread... but it is actually served as a breakfast sandwich on two pieces of buttered bread (I'm gluten free, dairy free). I also ordered it without cheese and reiterated that 3 times but when it was served, it had cheese on it. We were the only ones in the restaurant at that time and we waited about 10 minutes for our check until my partner finally got up and went looking for someone to bring our check so we could get the heck out of there. The ambiance is about the only thing Tiphanies is doing right but we definitely won't be back. The door county cherry bars were decent too.

This wasn't my first time here, but it has been many months since I visited. The food and cocktails were always top quality, and I was craving a good sandwich. We went for a weekday lunch around noon, and the place was almost empty. We had to wait in the past. I asked for the cocktail menu because I had the day off. Unfortunately, they had no one to make cocktails, so I ordered a glass of wine. I ordered the candied bacon BLT ($15) and my companion, the Turkey Pesto ($13). It took over 25 minutes to get our food. The sandwiches were delicious but came without sides. They used to come with the yummiest chips and a pickle, and when I asked about it, I was told they discontinued them. I later noticed they had sides you can add, but for an additional $4+. A pickle was $2. I was not even asked if I wanted a side. When the waitress asked about dessert, I asked if I could see menu again, because I saw a deconstructed s'more. I was told that what was at the counter was all they had. They had very little at the counter. So, to sum thing up, people who work downtown are not paying $19 for lunch(sandwich plus side) that takes 25 minutes to get to the table when they have an hour lunchtime. The service was slow, and the staff needs more training and knowledge, and the prices are too high for the amount of food you are getting.

Kid-friendliness: The had a kids menu.

Not the bakery it was!!
2 inch cupcakes, and NO carrier to take them with. Clearly this place has moved on to something else (Chic, posh, hip, but not what it was.) Maybe they’re focused on food and not baked goods now. It’s Hyvee quality (that’s not saying much) at double the price. It’s now just a dry, little piece of old cake topped with an equal size dollop of lightly sweetened whip cream. Sad to see.

Ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday, and the decor was, for the most part what she asked for, except The writing containing her name was not in the right spot or design that she asked for originally. The taste of the cake was ok up until the portion right under the frosting which was over baked and burnt in some spots. There were also various spots that were not even cooked all the way through. For a $58, 6 inch cake, I was expecting a lot more. Save your time and money if you’re thinking of ordering a cake here…

My husband and I went to Tiphanie’s for lunch today. I had the Hot Chicken Ceasar Croissant. It was superb! Hands down one of the BEST meals.
