Held a bachelorette party here in February. The week before some very nasty reviews came out about the business. It made us nervous but we decided to go through with the party as the owner was nice when we met with her and the place was the perfect setting. We had changes made through email to our menu and all were confirmed. Our waitress was great and took care of the 15 of us wonderfully. However, the food we received wasn’t the agreed upon final changes and was only mediocre. We brought this up to the server and instead of asking what we wanted or the owner coming out they simply made and brought out the food we didn’t receive or that was incorrectly made. By this point we were eating dessert. We would’ve rather they remove something from our ticket, offer something to take home.. instead we left with food that would not reheat well. Overall we had a great time, and got some fun pics. The chocolate covered strawberries were AMAZING! I went on Facebook today to see what she has planned for Easter and… I am blocked! I have never commented negatively on any posts but I think after the mistakes she was worried I would and acted first. Very disappointed. If you fear constructive criticism then you might rethink how you’re doing things.

Even though my order unfortunately did not go through in the morning due to printer problems they were experiencing. I actually enjoyed my time waiting. The atmosphere is so clean and sharp with its design, and the music makes the place a very cool place to just chill and vibe. The ladies who assisted me were so kind and friendly as soon as soon as I walked in. You feel a friendly welcome with a warm, vibrant feeling of the room. I ordered the Monte cristo with no egg and absolutely loved the decadent flavor of sweetness with the ham. My boys loved the marshmallow fluff hot chocolate pancakes! Great place if you've never been, but be careful. I will admit that while I was waiting, I ended up buying a cake, cupcakes, and their macaroons! So if you have a sweet tooth like me, be aware it's a delicious sweet spot that you will love!

Tiphanie's is one of my favorite things about Davenport. The food is fantastic. I've never had anything that was less than delicious! I always say I wish I could get a sampler with a couple bites of each sandwich/app/entree so I can enjoy it all. And the desserts are AMAZING! The special Tiph bars (my favorite) are so irresistible they've been sold out the last two times I've been there! I live in Iowa City and I try to stop in any time I go to the QC or even driving through on my way to IL. My only complaint is that it's nowhere near I-80! The food, the baked goods, the decor and the vibe are all top notch! I may have to make a trip there this weekend and order one of everything!

After seeing her new debacle with health code violations and the terrible treatment of employees by the owner I decided better late than never. Save your money and possibly health and eat somewhere else.

I think the food is good. But $19 for country fried steak? Looking at my $16 sandwich, I’m trying to see where $16 went to. I’d say $14-13. It was good but When I look at what it comes with… the sandwiches could have a little more something for $16. The Open Face Hot Beef Sandwich. $19??? Open faced just give me the other slice of bread if I’m gonna pay $19 for hot meat just to be poured over 1 slice of bread. Like I realize inflation is a thing, but you gotta make the food worth $19. $13 for buttermilk biscuits?? Better be the best damn biscuits.
