I grew up in Chicago and remember Portillos when it was a Hot Dog stand! What along way and the Italian Beef market in Chicago is really TOUGH!!! I always come back to Portillos…. And to now have them in Davenport IA!!! Wow!!! Fully baptized with Giandera is for me!!!! With Onion rings and the CHOCOLATE CAKE!! Lastly, the old school bags/logo… simple red/white!! ?

Went here once while visiting davenport with my mom, I kept asking Everytime to stop and get lunch and she said no, finally, went with two friends and their kids, the high chairs were clean and easy to figure out, and have wheels on them so we didn't have to carry them, very fast service from the cashier's and it didn't take long to get our food, I even went up to order another dubble bacon cheese burger with two lemon cakes (that were really good) to go and even to go was great, and momma T was very sweet and happy to help out anyways she can, from what I see. Her a long with everyone made the experience the best of the best, I will always come back when I go to davenport.

I don’t normally order things to go because I have bad luck with my order being complete. They did forget my onion rings but the fish sandwich was great. Now to have a dine-in experience for a Chicago dog and that Italian beef. Glad I finally tried them out. Will definitely be back.

Got a shake and some much needed nourishment! The staff was awesome, truly a delight and were so kind, the food came up fast and tasted amazing. Quality was top notch! Fast and got to me hot, fresh from the kitchen! Staff was kind to each other as well even at their busiest times. This establishment has both my personal recommendation and my upmost respect. Well done!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of various things to choose from, the manager even helped a customer in front of us with this as they had a severe allergy. Wonderful to see there was no judgement and staff actually cared about guests.Parking: No trouble finding a spot even has a drive thru if needed/wantedKid-friendliness: Bring the whole family, kid friendly experience all around.

We came here when my husband bowled for state. Our food was sloppy and barely warm.We were excited because we had visited one in Rosemont and it was so good.Hopefully they'll get better.

The food was great and so was the redhead server taking my order when I went! She had a wonderful attitude and made sure i got everything I wanted. The terrible thing about it though was management's treatment of their employees. While waiting for my order two managers in front of me started bad-mouthing the cashier. One would expect management to want to define their employee's good qualities, not gossip about them behind their back, ESSPECIALLY in front of customers (even though they shouldn't be doing that at all, regardless of who they are within earshot of)

Been coming in here semi-regularly since I’ve temporarily returned and I’ve DoorDashed this restaurant hundreds of times.. But just a couple weeks ago i started coming in here and mostly buying their Spicy Chicken sandwich which is in my opinion better than Chick-Fil-A (not as good as Jack in the Box, because that Evil Chicken is so hot it brings back those told RuneScape servers)..But! Portillo’s is based out of Chicago and it’s making its rounds! It’s established with a very old school Americana theme inside with all the decorations, the music and whatnot.Tons of space, place a nice bar that serves you a damn cauldron of beer for $6! Perfect!The staff are polite and even when they’re busy, they get people in and out pretty quick, so definitely come in here, have a burger, a chicken sandwich or something and just enjoy yourself!
