Weird vibe. Take it with a grain of salt, because it is attached to a hotel. Burrito came out incredibly hot - never been served food so hot in my life. Barista was not excited to have anyone, nor make food. Would not recommend.

Scheduled a coffee meet and greet with some friends for 10-26-25. Arrived and it was closed. Employees didn't show up. I guess we will never try Rise... Due to a lack of professionalism.
The café is connected to the Black Hawk Hotel. I didn't try any of the food, but the coffee was really underwhelming. It tasted so watered down. Unfortunately, I waited for my latté to cool down a bit before tasting it so I was already a good distance away to have them re-make it. The barista was really nice, though. Unless you're staying at the hotel, I'd skip this café. There are much better options nearby. I'm sorry to report.
Nice barista. Looks like there was a rush. Trash cans were overflowing.

Was pretty rough. Understaffed for sure, but I witnessed incorrect orders both before my order and while waiting for my order. Coffee was just okay.

I’ve been there a few times and every time it’s something different. Either they turn their oven off an hour before closing. They are closed but the doors are open? Or they are closed with no notice at all. I’ve only had a chance to try their ice coffee. Which was good but disappointing. Neighboring businesses say it’s like they just make up their own hours because they were open until 1 the day before and not even until 11 the next day.
It's a great little café. I was able to sit and work for a few hours with no issues. Corrina was very helpful and she seemed to be on top of everything from working with customers and making sure things were filled and ready.I only got a coffee but would still recommend!
Was disappointed since I came at 1:20 and everything was closed, even though websites say it’s open until 2pm. Hopefully I can come back and try again!

The strawberry smoothies were flavorless. The girl working was slammed and doing her best but the drinks my group had were not good.
Excellent food, great service, plenty of variety on menu.
Very friendly at the coffee shop
