A balm to the oozing wound that is Davenport food. This town needed this restaurant badly. I will be coming back and telling others to come. (I had the fish plate, green beans and mac&cheese, and spinach dip as appetizer. Not a single complaint.)

The food is amazing. There is a large variety of menu items to choose from. The service is top notch and there is immediate seating available. There are many favorites that I have ordered and just absolutely loved. My personal favorites Are the collard greens, meatloaf, catfish, and shrimp and grits. Everything tastes delicious.

So my wife & happened to be in Davenport, IA (long story) and landed at Soul Ties.
Definitely one of the best soul -comfort spots we've been to recently. The food was fantastic! I had the smothered pork chops & my wife had fried chicken. We both had Mac&cheese; I had green beans; and she had creamed corn. Everything was fresh, hot and seasoned to perfection. We got there early at 3pm and were served immediately. Service was great. Food came out in about 20min. The ambiance is cool with an open vibe. I'd highly recommend this place if u happen to wander into Davenport. Great food & nap worthy!!!
Everything about Soul Ties is awesome . The atmosphere was awesome , real spacious & the vibe is so chill and I love the music . The service was awesome , food came out so fast and hot . The staff is really helpful if you’re stuck on what to get . They’re really friendly and always have a bright smile. Now the food , my goshhhhhh . Best food in the city . Everything I ate was amazing . Especially the catfish & the lemon pepper chicken wings . I had also got the creamy spinach it was amazing . I wish I could just take the restaurant back with me home . Also the shrimp & grits (BOMB) didn’t have to add anything to them . I mean everything I had was good . I’ll recommend them any day .

Atmosphere was amazing, staff well mannered and quick on their feet. I got spinach dip for my appetizer and it was the best I’ve ever had! Creamy and cheesy w fresh Tortilla chips. For my meal i got fried fish w green beans and yams. The bessst and juiciest green beans Ive ever had hand down. Fish fried just right and yams where amazing. I definitely fought my sleep after that meal. Worth the 2hr drive over and over!

The food is okay not worth the price the side dishes are small they could be a little bigger for the price that you're paying but I guess it is what it is for myself I won't be going back there then they add your tip in with the food and the waiter don't even come back and ask you if you need any more water or pop or whatever you're drinking you should only have to tip the waiters that are worth tipping and the waiter was not worth the tip
