A balm to the oozing wound that is Davenport food. This town needed this restaurant badly. I will be coming back and telling others to come. (I had the fish plate, green beans and mac&cheese, and spinach dip as appetizer. Not a single complaint.)
The food is amazing. There is a large variety of menu items to choose from. The service is top notch and there is immediate seating available. There are many favorites that I have ordered and just absolutely loved. My personal favorites Are the collard greens, meatloaf, catfish, and shrimp and grits. Everything tastes delicious.
So my wife & happened to be in Davenport, IA (long story) and landed at Soul Ties.
Definitely one of the best soul -comfort spots we've been to recently. The food was fantastic! I had the smothered pork chops & my wife had fried chicken. We both had Mac&cheese; I had green beans; and she had creamed corn. Everything was fresh, hot and seasoned to perfection.
We got there early at 3pm and were served immediately. Service was great....
