I placed a mobile order via the Taco Johns website on 12/4. It was delivered through doordash. When my order was received it was the completely wrong order. Upon finding this out i immediately called the store and told them the issue. The "manager" told me that i couldn't complain to them and had to complain to doordash. Of course, this is false since the order was NOT placed through doordash and was instead placed via tacojohns.com. They then hung up on me when I tried to press the issue. I had to call back again and speak to someone and was assured that I would be refunded. 1 week later and no refund has been issued. Guess who won their chargeback request?

I messed up my own order because the app confuses me so bad (not the employees fault, but the company) I asked for it be fixed when I got there and the workers were very nice and just reminded me to look over the app. I have terrible anxiety and I knew they didn’t have to fix my order for me and didn’t expect them too but was very nice and considerate. My food was good and warm and I have never had issues at this taco John’s. Will continue to have my business anytime I have a taco craving! thank you for your kind service even in unfortunate circumstances I know it can be annoying but so appreciated.

Waited in drive thru for 27 minutes. Once I pulled up, they had no idea what my order was. Staff then refused to give me the food I ordered, as they "had another mix up" and the staff could not agree. I ended up having to leave. Highly disappointed in the lack of ability to simply run the drive thru. Staff was not attentive or kind. Spending nearly 30 minutes in a drive thru is beyond unacceptable
People at the drive through window were nice but slow and 2 of our 4 items were prepared incorrectly. They also didn't include the extra cup of sour cream that we paid for. Will just go to the other location in davenport probably.

I went here with a buddy in the morning for some food waa majorly dissapointed not to be rude but the workers making the food looked like they were on something. The person who took my order was nice the service and fine and its not dirty but when i got my food it was DISGUSTING i took one bite and it was like trash water and meat in my mouth it was god awful i forced myself to finish 1/3 tacos i purchased and couldnt continue it was so bad and my potato oles were no exeption i love oles but while they were hot they were majorly over seasoned with salt and pepper and it made it hard to finish more than 8 or so of them that werent death sentances to eat.

I haven't been here for some time. I've stayed away due to several messed up orders. Today may have been my last visit. I asked for a beef burrito again and was served a bean burrito again. When I pointed out the error, the clerk didn't even have to courtesy of telling me the cost difference. She just handed me a receipt with coin. Rude really turns me off. This location is on a city street, just feet from a highway. It is extremely inconvenient to pull away from this location, enter traffic only to turn around, and wait to get the order fixed. Maybe consider numbering items? Apparently, beef sounds too much like bean. Frustrated that you're forcing me to patronize elsewhere.

Haven't been to Taco John's in awhile. The experience today was outstanding. Food was fresh and the staff was AWESOME! The dining room was exceptionally clean! We'll be back more often .. can't get enough of the potato oles!
