During an Oct. 16 visit, a Scott County inspector cited the establishment for 13 violations, an unusually high number, and concluded that the person in charge was not certified as a food safety manager and was failing to hold foods at safe temperatures. Food was stored on the floor of a walk-in cooler, the pizza prep cooler was holding food items at 43 to 45 degrees rather than 41 degrees or colder, the front-bar cooler that held half & half was holding items at 49 to 50 degrees, and several food items in coolers throughout the kitchen were not dated or properly labeled. Also, a large ice chest had a black substance on the interior, the shelving inside the pizza-prep cooler had excess food debris, and one cooler had standing water inside of it. The cooler continued to have standing water even after an attempt was made to clean it up, the inspector reported. The broiler was marred by excess food debris and grease, and chemicals, including Germicide cleaner, were stored near food-preparation areas. The inspector also reported finding "mouse-like droppings" in food-prep areas and in the basement, adding that the kitchen ceiling and walls had an excessive amount of grease and dust on them.

Okay, I REALLY wanted to love this place! We walked in and were impressed by the decor and ambience right away. Our server was really nice, and our drinks came quickly and were made well. Then we waited for our appetizer. After a long wait out came our server with our meals. I told her we hadn't had our app yet and she apologized and brought it out after a bit. My husband's and daughter's food was cold. I had the tenderloin and could tell it would have been delicious if it hadn't been thoroughly oversalted. I hate to not give 5 star ratings, but at this point I don't think we'll try here again.

Club sandwich, tenderloins, burgers all excellent & fresh cut fries too!Need to revise this now. Been told there are new owners, apparently they don't believe in 'if it ain't broke don't fix it"Definitely changed from the best bacon I've ever had to thin sliced no flavor bacon.At least that's I got on my BLT last week. Have to assume this same bacon will be on the club also. Even the fresh cut fries were a little different old & redipped? Not bad but not as good.Can get as good or better elsewhere & probably for less $.WHY do new owners do this? Gotta be greed.Just lost this customer

The french dip was SOGGY. Pulled pork nachos came with ground beef? Absolutely repulsive. 0/10 worst sandwich I have ever spent money on, let alone for $15. The nachos were NOT what was advertised. This is hands down the worst food I have ever received. I absolutely would NEVER revisit. I genuinely cannot believe i spent $70+ for a meal that tastes as good as a 3 year old’s cooking (who’s would have probably tasted better). Server was OK. took her 15-20 to get a drink we had informed her we would want when she brought us the menus.

Ordered food togo at 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon - a chicken bacon ranch sandwich, a Reuben, and fries.. cost almost $50, which would be fine IF the food was on point! The chicken was mangled and tough, with the ranch was not on the side like I ordered it.. so needless to say it was sloppy and soggy. Disappointed, we called to see what they could do and the remedy for this waste of $50 was more bad food. We only complained about the chicken sandwich but the fries were gritty and the Reuben was sloppy and soggy too. The 2nd chicken sandwich looked better than the first, but honestly I wish I could just go back in time and not order it at all. Will not be getting food from here again. I will stick to Rudy's!

Food was decent atmosphere was same, I think the biggest issue is that literally every single member of staff was more occupied with being on their phone than giving a crap about how the customers were doing! We ordered an appetizer and never received it despite the waitress writing it down, then she said she forgot but could put it in after she just served us our food. Our glasses sat empty for over 15 min( the place only had 4 tables of people). One waiter asked his table if they were doing alright but he was about 10-12 feet away from them so they didn’t hear him, all while EVERYTIME we looked at the staff they were on the phones especially our waitress I’ve never been treated so badly by staff in my life! My husband had to wait for her to look up just to get her attention to get our bill and a Togo box and that’s when she decided to ask if we wanted more to drink. For the price we paid I would have expected better service.
