Staff were great and food came quickly. The food was mediocre. Dry Carmel cake, no banana bread pudding available, creole bowls were so-so.

We stopped by for some fresh lemonade, and I can confirm it was indeed freshly made—I watched them prepare it! While it wasn’t as sweet as typical fair lemonade, it was perfect as is. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese, and as a huge mac and cheese lover, I have to say this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. We originally just came for the lemonade, but we’ll definitely be back for a full meal. The staff was amazing, and I truly hope this place thrives!

I should have known better to eat here when we walked in and no one was in here at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. First, the lemonades are pretty good, you can tell they are made fresh.
The food? I’m not sure what they are cooking on in the kitchen but our peel and eat shrimp came out so hot I grabbed one and dropped it because of the heat. No warning on the temperature. So that was nice. Once the shrimp came back to a normal earthy temperature, it was pretty tasty. We weren’t given any plates for sharing an appetizer so we used the last five napkins at our table as plates. I had jambalaya and I’ve had GOOD jambalaya, I know what it’s supposed to taste like. This was not what it’s supposed to taste like. No flavor, no spice. I even added a crap ton of hot sauce and that didn’t help. I got a side of southern coleslaw, again, that had to be out of a tub, because it was so salty! I took one bite and spit it out. My husband had the beef po boy and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was not fresh but he liked his sandwich. So yeah. No sense in going here if you like bland food!
I brought up the food issue to the server and she offered a new plate to go but no thanks. Paid our bill and left.
Try the Garrison next door if you like food to be made correctly.

Citron Chicken is amazing. Highly recommend.
The food was delicious! Nothing like I have found in the QC! The drinks are WAY overpriced, my Lemonade cocktail was $10, it came in the same size glass as the water, with a lemon garnish. My husband got a can of Busch light for $5. Pretty sure my Lemonade was not fresh like they boast. I was expecting like the fair where they squeeze the lemons as you order the drink. There was a Lemonade dispenser in the corner behind the bar, and with the lack of customers, I wonder how long it has been there.

I had the chicken po-boy sandwich and it’s the best sandwich I’ve had yet! The flavors just pop and they have horseshoe fries to add some extra crunch to your sandwich. The lemonade is very good and it is freshly squeezed to which makes it even better! And the atmosphere is great it’s just filled with amazing people and a peaceful environment!
Yummy barbecue sandwich with a cheesy macaroni side. I savored every bite. The lemonade sample is perfect. Recommend for a lunch or fun dinner, place has lots of atmosphere! People very nice.

Wow! Great new restaurant downtown. I got the hibiscus lemonade and the tofu Cajun bowl. Such a great vegetarian option and the perfect level of spice. Will definitely be going back.

Food was very bland. Had to drench it in hot sauce to get any sort of flavor. Very disappointed.

Wow! Some serious love in their food and service here. Don't miss the gem.
Ordered sandwiches online. They were both great! Plenty of meat on the BBQ sandwich & 8 shrimp on the shrimp po' boy. Will definitely return for more!
