The meatball sandwich was cold, and bread was soggy. Fries were cold and undercooked. Buffalo sauce on the wings was like buffalo flavored oil and not a sauce, and wings were also cold. Service was very slow. Appetizers came out with the food and not separately like they should have. The server came back once after we received our food, and we were almost done eating to see if we needed anything.

Slow. For appetizers, we had the spinach dip, which h was decent but came with a little bit of pita bread and a handful of generic tortilla chips, which downgraded the dip. We had buffalo wings, tasted decent but small, and garlic parm that were just covered in a salad dressing and not good. Entree I had tenderloin, which was worse tenderloin I've had in my life. Don't go here ... there are so many better restaurants in the area with good food and friendly service.

We love the service and food here! Our favorite items are cheese fries, nachos, bone-in wings, pizzas, pasta, bread bites and buffalo chicken sandwich!
My husband and I went in to have lunch, around 1:00-1:15. We came from Illinois to watch a track meet at St. Ambrose, googled local restaurants and Van's sounded good. The waitress introduced herself, took our drink order, and gave us a few minutes to order. 20 minutes later, she NEVER came to take our order. We tried to pay for our drinks and left.
Eh.... no delivery. Picked up pizzas. Wasn't impressed.

My brother and I were traveling through on our way back to Michigan for Thanksgiving. We showed up and the staff was phenomenal, service out of this world and all of the food is made from scratch. Please do yourself a favor and come check this place out!!!!!!!!

Tonight we "ate in" at Van's and it was delicious. I had the Italian Beef. The peppers and the bun had just the right crunch, and the beef was lean and tasty. The fries were great, and our server (Mandy) was diligent about checking on us and refreshing beverages. Thx!
