I been here two times already. Really enjoyed the madam walker smoothie. A coworker at my job recommended this place to me since I am trying to incorporate more fruit and vegetable nutrition. Everything was good and I will try to make a visit once or twice a week when I'm in the area. Definitely recommend trying for those who are skeptical. The owner had me try a item that was good for weight loss, and blood pressure. He was knowledgeable on health nutrition. I also like how the smoothies and drinks were named after great black leaders like Harriet Tubman, Ida B. Wells etc. I enjoy supporting black own businesses whenever possible.

First of all, the owner is SO nice. I had trouble finding the smoothie shop so he not only walked me to it, but also took the time to explain all of their ingredients. I LOVE the activism and historical aspect of the entire place, as well. I got the Ida B- SO GOOD!! If I come back to rock island, I’ll definitely visit here again.

I love that they follow Dr Sebi's teachings. Wish I would've found this place sooner!

Great staff all around. Only downfall is that they haven't gotten more public attention, would love to see them grow and expand, they definitely deserve it.

Awesome smoothie, knowledgable staff, kinda different location. Its in a wig and weeve store. Definitely returning for another smoothie though!

The Ida (pb + banana + cocoa) was 🤌🏼😘 We also tried the Jackie and the mini cinnamon donuts. Impressed all around and will definitely be back!! 🔥10/10 recommend. Great staff- great environment! Love having healthy - delicious options on the go! 🔥

First of all the owner is a really cool guy. Would do business with him any day. Second the smoothie is actually amazing. Very healthy too. No added artificial anything at all and still tastes amazing. Vegan stuff and abundance. Will come back when in area !

*** First off - I’m going to save y’all the confusion, embarrassment & possible frustration, of how to enter this place… LMAO. You MUST enter through the side, through the “Celebrity’s Beauty Supply - Wigs & Accessories” store front!! You’ll see the smoothie bar over to the right, once you’re inside.The customer service is awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They’re patient and will answer any questions you have. The entire building is very clean & spacious, inside the ‘store’ and the restaurant side. I was warmly greeted and felt welcomed to be there.I had the Maya Angelou inspired tropical smoothie, and it was delicious! Very fruity and fresh. Blended nice & smooth. It was on the sweeter side for me BUT - looks like this one is made with an added sweetener! So I’ll just ask for no sweetener next time. Easy fix. Also, they showed me the raw versus processed version of the sea-moss and it looks like applesauce! The mini donuts are so soft & melt in your mouth.I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending to my coworkers!
