Haven't been down there in many years but tbh I never personally thought it was a bad bar from what I've noticed. The west end can sometimes have some real clowns hanging out in those bars down there but I never really did see this at the nickel at least when I was down there.
Wooden Nickel is Supburb place to stop and wet your whistle. Very relaxing Great drinks of the Variety They serve . Certain nights they have Ore Duerves and Sundag you can make your own Bloody Marys. Jukebox Slots Pool Table Patio. Definitely recomend. Prices are great.
Inside is nice and warm. They also have a slot machine that pays out tickets for drinks if you win, which kind of makes it like an adult Chuck E cheese. Which is pretty cool. Staff was great
