I have ate here a few times over the last couple of years. Today was Mother’s Day, and when we went in for lunch it wasn’t busy. Not till after we had made a order. Our server was very nice and did her job well. We ordered a boil with king crab, mussels , shrimp , sausage , extra corn and eggs. We got our order and no shrimp were inside the boil. I thought “ that’s fine, it was a lot of food anyways we will just tell them when we are done” that was my mistake. I’ll accept that, but when we told the server she kindly went back and said she would deal with it. She came back with the shrimp we had ordered and we didn’t want it , it wasn’t in the boil and we were full and done . We just wanted jt off the bill. She said that the manager would not take it off. So we talked to the manager . This why I won’t be dining their again, He said he needed to check the cameras to see if we had been given the shrimp. He stated the chef had put them in the boil. But all they had to do was look through our bucket and see if we had the shrimp tails. They also admitted fault when they brought us shrimp after the meal. Just the way they went about it all saying they needed to check cameras and how it felt like we were in the wrong as liars or something didn’t sit right . Told them to check the cameras because we were not lying. Also let me add again they tried to give us the shrimp after the meal. The manager wasn’t snide or rude but was passive aggressive, he took the shrimp off the bill eventually but how the whole situation went down didn’t feel hospitable at all. Good food but how it all went down didn’t sit right with me and my other. So we won’t be back but dont let that stop you from enjoying a good boil.
Had a delicious birthday lunch here. I got the shrimp and crawfish boil with mild Cajun seasoning. I'm from the south so I know a good low country boil, this place is really good and the price isn't bad for seafood in Iowa.

Emma did an awesome job, day 4 and she was on point. The management not so much, food was sub par, management was busy staring at their phones. Just go a bad vibe of this place. I hope Emma finds a place more deserving of her positive attitude and charm.

I didn’t appreciate the lit up loud mouthed waitress today overpowering my table and flirting with the man at the table unprofessional and disgusting and a bad look for the place shouldn’t be trying to find a man while serving food. I was impatient because I am overstimulated by her loud mouth. She didn’t have to point that out. My waitress shouldn’t be so loud I need an anxiety pill at 5p I should be able to enjoy my meal without her opinions or loud mouth

BETTER SEAFOOD THAN FRESH OUT OF THE WATER ON THE EAST COAST! Trust me it’s not an overstatement, just got back from the east coast and the seafood at yummy crabs its so good I can’t even put it into words….you just have to try this place! The food was absolutely amazing, the server we had was so friendly and welcoming, and everyone in the building seemed to be enjoying themselves. We will definitely be back again.

Snow crab, dungeness crab, green mussels, shrimp and clams were all cooked to perfection ! Service was excellent and Kaitlyn was very knowledgeable about the menu and nuances of the individual items. Very attentive to the table and a joy to talk to. 🙂
Prices ? It's fresh seafood in the Midwest, sooo... but a very good meal.
The potatoes and corn seal the deal.

I went here for my birthday dinner an hour before their listed closing time and we were refused table service and only offered takeout. We reluctantly ordered and when we opened and tasted the food all we could taste is oil. There was no seasonings and we couldn’t taste the meat itself. We ended up not eating any more of the food after the first bites due to the extreme amounts of oil soaked into the meats.

Can't go wrong for the money. The old bay/garlic butter route is the move. Super spicy wasn't really spicy, but it wasn't bad at all. Far from upscale but the food was all good, no complaints.

We really enjoy the king crab legs here. The fried shrimp are also fantastic. There are lots of TVs, and they were happy to switch some over to football.

Expensive for not fresh seafood. They only have one or two items if you don't want seafood. Waitress was great. They say everyone who came in a small area I didn't like hearing the conversation at the table next to me.

Let me just start this review off with, save your money!! Cosmetically, the building is in need of repair. Pretty much everything outside has serious weather damage that is not being tended to. The bathrooms aren’t cleaned on a regular basis as the urinals had caked on debris. The environment was basic. Our server was very polite and helpful when we needed a hand navigating the weird menu. But the food………For the price I paid one would most definitely expect fresh food, yet it was all frozen, including the corn. They basically just heat up a bunch of frozen seafood and vegetables and charge you as if you were actually eating somewhere on a beach at a 5 star restaurant in paradise. I could’ve prepared what my entire table had in the comfort of my own home with fresh ingredients at a fraction of the price!! $146 for 2 adults and one child. And we did our best to keep some of the cost down as that wasn’t half as bad as the check could’ve been. Not happy at all! I don’t understand why they call it yummy crab when everything was well overcooked? If you consider this quality food, please have your taste buds checked because I am from the coastal and southern states and this isn’t even close to authentic by any stretch of the imagination! Normally I’m not this mean, but I feel seriously ripped off!! Definitely not going back to this generic gimmick! ✌🏻
