I am visiting new places in Iowa after moving from Colorado. This is one place I will NEVER return to!! Started off our waitress, with the blonde hair and ponytail, had zero personality, and would get more of a reaction from a stick! Then, I figured for a full order of fries, we would be able to share. Wrong!!! It's a normal sized order, which was not enough to share. You would only get 5 fries with a half order. Then upon getting our food.... not great either. You get charged for ranch, even with the chicken tender baskets. McDonald's doesn't charge for sauces, even with nuggets! Then we get the bill. Got two sandwiches then up charges galore for things already included on the burger mushroom/swiss and Philly. Got charged for bacon, cheese. And mushrooms. How is that right? It's a crooked and terrible establishment. I would suggest staying far away or reviewing your bills first before just paying!!

Our " go to spot " for a dear friends gathering at least once a month ! The food is always wonderful with plenty of it ! The service is top notch every time ! They have inside as well as outside seating / dining available . The prices are very reasonable to top it all off !
Always a 10 star experience eating here!! I'm from down by Boone Iowa and visited friends in Castalia and had to have dinner here again. They used to live in Burr Oak I went here first time in 2019!!!
