“I Don't get here as often as I would like. The food is always outstanding. The staff is so friendly and the owners always make a point of visiting your table. The drive and lack of parking are worth the risk. Best to go early. You will not be disappointed. It is pricey. Just be sure to check the menu before you go. The prices are in line with other high end restaurants in the area, but could be a shock if you dont know.”

“We are always looking for restaurants that serve healthy real food that also offers gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options and this one is excellent. I loved the bowl I ordered: the perfect blend of ginger, peanut and cilantro atop rice with broccoli, pickled onions and shredded carrot with a flavorful sauce…yum. Our whole family enjoyed our meals. We also got cookies and my only regret is that I didn’t buy more. The GF ginger molasses one I got was so good. We live far away, but I will keep this on my list of places to return. If only all towns had a place like this! “Sometimes, a friend will take you to a birthday dinner at La Rana and because he snuck away and paid for all the drinks at his own birthday dinner a while back, you want to get him back and pay for the drinks at your own.Well, these waiters and waitresses will help you with that. Even if your friend pulls a lot of weight in the community.And also, the food and service is spectacular.”

“Hotel Winneshiek is a great hotel located in the heart of Downtown Decorah. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and always do their best to make you feel welcome. I would highly suggest visiting the bar and sitting outside for a cocktail. Lots going on here - would be a great place to have a wedding! We will be back.”

“Five stars across the board. We recently moved up to Northern Iowa from Central and needed a new sushi joint. Thank goodness one is Koreana is close by! Met all our needs. Their Lo-Mein and sushi is amazing, Just wish they had Miso Soup!”

“Cool little spot for beer!There's seating both inside and outside and the tap list is top notch!We ordered some beers and got some cans to go.The bartenders were great (a girl at first and then a guy came on for the later shift), fantastic service and knowledgeable about the beer they serve.We would definitely come back here for a beer when we visit again.”

“We were from our of town and stopped in for drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere was fun and casual. The drinks were reasonably priced and the appetizers were delicious. We will come back again!”

“Great little winery!We stopped in at lunch time on a Sunday.I ordered a pizza and apple pie with ice cream and he ordered ciabatta sandwich and brownie with ice cream.I didnt try his sandwich but everything else was good!We ordered our own flights and 1 glass of our favorite.We left with 4 bottles of wine and a slush.There was probably only 5 other people there at that same time, so not at all busy. The staff was all very kind and made us feel welcome. We usually meet these ladies at the Cedar Rapids downtown farmer's market so if you cant get to them in Decorah catch them at the market.”

“Huge open space, plenty of tables and games and events planned! The ciders are dry or semi-sweet. Very creative profiles like elderberry and lavender. We did a flight of 4x and it was about $10. Great place to stop in for a drink! Stay for a charcuterie board too!”

“The food is excellent and the servers are friendly and helpful.Parking: There are about 6 spots at the restaurant, but more on the street nearby.Kid-friendliness: The servers are friendly too kids as well as adults. They have seats for kids and are accommodating.”
