April 8, 2023. Wow! The food was awesome! I had the brisket street tacos. Meat was delicious and slaw in the taco was excellent Shared with my husband as it was a lot of food. Beans were tasty and cornmeal muffin was satisfying. You’ve got to try it!

The restaurant is a hidden gem and offers heavy smoke flavor barbecue, with large portions that satisfy even big appetites. It may not be fancy or have perfect service, but the staff definitely knows how to do barbecue right. The turkey and stew of the day are also highly recommended, and the Mac & Cheese is very good, though some suggest smoking it for an even better flavor. Overall, Old Armory BBQ provides a tasty and filling meal at a reasonable price, full of charm and character.
