Holy moly, this was good. Sooooo gooood. I’m usually a meat eater but have been trying to switch it up and the rice bowl I had today was honestly amazing. So many flavors I didn’t miss not having meat. This will change your mind on “health food.” I added oyster mushrooms and feta to the Dilly Beet bowl.❤️

Blazing Star was such a lovely experience! The owners and staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming. I had the Caesar salad and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — so fresh and flavorful! I also tried the maple cold brew, which was super delicious, and the cups were so cute (the owner even shared where she got them!). You can really tell they put so much care into everything here. Overall, such a warm, cheerful spot — can’t wait to come back! 🌿☕️🥗

It's fairly easy to find vegan food in decorah but this was a great healthier option! I got a bowl and it was very tasty, but I thought it was a bit too pricy.

Excellent experience there today– the romesco bowl was terrific and it’s a clean, bright, and comfortable storefront space. The soup was on the pricey side for the portion size, but again overall would definitely return and so great to have such a healthy option!

My husband and I love Blazing Star for weekend brunch. Fresh ingredients and lots of flavor! The location is perfect if you plan on spending the day in downtown Decorah.
We had the cilantro corn salad and the chipotle bowl. The food looked amazing, and we were excited to dig in, but ended up disappointed.
The salad was served over rice, which was fine, but was a surprise since it's not listed as such on the menu. Meanwhile, both the salad and the bowl were missing ingredients (scallions and pepitas on one, red radishes on the other).
The veggies were fresh and flavorful, but we didn't care for either of the sauces.
