Don Jose was wonderful as always ! The food was really good and plenty of it ! I always end up bringing half of my meal home ! The owners and their staff are always very pleasant . The service was fast and orders were accurate as always ! Don Jose is our " go-to" in Decorah for my friends and I !

Don Jose Family Mexican Restaurant was a wonderful experience. I've been meaning to stop in and enjoy some real authentic Mexican food but every time I go by it is packed full of people with some waiting outside! I now understand why. Delicious food, kind and friendly staff and a great atmosphere ensures that I'll be back here when I can to try a different, delicious dish. I had the beef Colorado burrito and my wife got chicken taquitos. Both were delicious and very filling and also came with sides of refried beans and rice. I would recommend Don Jose Family Mexican Restaurant to anyone who wants a taste of good, authentic Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices.
