Always great food at a great price, but the service isn’t usually good. A few times now I’ve gone in to eat alone and multiple big groups that sat down after me get menus and drinks before me, extremely frustrating and disappointing. A single should always be served before a 6-top, especially if the single was there first. Thinking they should do away with the seat yourself system if they can never tell who was there first.

There’s no way I got 2 eggs and my bacon was so thin with no meatiness to it, all fat. The hash browns were ok, too crispy. I thought for the 12 bucks I paid was too much for the quality of food I got. When I walked in, I was completely ignored for a good minute before I asked do I seat myself. Surely more than locals eat here. Coffee was good and they didn’t charge 5 bucks for it. Just not really impressed. Usually local places like this are good. Oh well

Took our family out for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was busy, but the quality of service and food was still amazing! Kept our coffee cups full and staff had smiles on their faces! Great job Sabin family table.

I am a local and been to family table many times. Today was a horrible different experience. Met my cousin there and I grabbed a booth, no waitress around to seat me., lots of empty tables and booths with dirty dishes. I sat at one and got chewed out by waitress for doing so. Then got chewed out for grabbing a booth while I was waiting for my cousin. There was a line of three people, empty tables around still. I was there b4 these people so why was I to wait when they hadn't waited on me or the people in line to get them seated. Told them I was waiting for another but they would not put a place setting down for her until she arrived. Then we got chewed out after lunch. Was told not to come back during their lunch time when they were busy because we occupied a booth when there was a line. Neither of us saw anyone in line otherwise we would have gotten up and left. Only time there was a short line when I first arrived and there were empty tables. If you want everyone to be seated by wait staff perhaps a sign by the door suggesting this would help. Also having wait staff to do this would help too. People do not go to a restaurant to get their butts chewed by the staff! I will think twice b4 I ever go back. Good Luck on your business. In a small town, poor service will get you no where and work travels fast.

We live on the other side of Iowa and stopped in while visiting the museum nearby. The staff was friendly and the menu was honestly mind blowing with more than one plant based vegan option! Thank you for having these options available and double thank you for being open Mondays! I shared photos of the vegan “chicken” tenders, hash-browns w/vegan cheese, peppers and onions, nacho fries w/vegan chorizo, vegan cheese. Great vibes and seriously cute town!
Dietary restrictions: Great for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans.
Food was good. Service was good. Definitely a small town feel. Place seemed to stop and look when we walked in as out of towers.

In honor of my Grandma Norma, I had to try "The Norma" that was on their menu and after I added a side of shredded hashbrowns, it set me up for a lovely day of fishing.
