The atmosphere is pleasantly comfortable, the staff is wonderful, and the food is outstanding! It is worth the trek through the woods.

This little gem in Decorah is probably my favorite place to visit and bring guests. It's not too far out of the way, and the cozy location and building is the perfect match to the great food and great service.

Visited last night for the first time. Totally impressed! Beautiful atmosphere, everyone was very friendly and it smelled amazing! The food, OMG, So so so good. Everything was perfect. From the temp, texture, taste, you can totally tell they care about what they are presenting and everything is made with love and high quality ingredients. Good beer and wine selection too, So far this is the best dining experience I’ve had since moving back to the area. A total gem of an establishment and I will be going back for sure!!

My customer recommended McCaffery's, but warned me about the tricky drive. They were right on both counts. It is worth adventuring to this restaurant. The food was well prepared and flavorful and the garlic bread was VERY good. I would recommend going during the day so that you can see the road.

I was really excited to eat here, and upon waking in, I thought we were in for a treat. The atmosphere is amazing. That was the highlight, unfortunately.

The menu does not accurately describe what you will receive. The Mac and Chesse meal is listed under the section that comes with a side salad and garlic bread. But when it didn't come with the garlic bread, we asked for the bread and the server said it didn't come with bread. They also run out of many items at the end of the week. Its a very pretty location, but the actual service and expectations do not match up.

Beautiful indoors and out...food is great....love the entertainment on Sat evenings in the summer....enjoy going to Sunday breakfast, owner is just a beautiful lady inside and out..

The food is just not good, and the management seems pretty indifferent. The setting is beautiful, so if ambience matters to you more than food, go for it.
