I like the food so was looking forward to a great meal with friends. Had friend with service animal, they made it uninviting and requested proof of service animal certification. We didn’t have it with us and didn’t want to run and get it. We took our party of 5 and went to Don Jose’s. No issues there!

Kim and the staff have a way of anticipating your needs. We don’t get out much with four young kids, but the accommodations are amazing each and every time we dine. Also - Don’t get the tuna and waffles if you want to ruin every other dish you ever eat. ?

No ratings not sure of your thinking your food is terrible! Pumpkin pie and steak should never be in the same bite. The person with me asked about the steak with apples she informed him his meal would be smootherd in apples wtf. We are from Iowa give us a good home cooked meal. After reading some of your reviews I now realize you are most liked for you alcohol. Wow

I seriously can't say enough good things about this restaurant! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was out of this world!! Our server Emily was the sweetest and most friendly server we've ever had. The owner Kim immediately makes you feel comfortable and welcome. We are from the Twin Cities but would definitely consider it worth it to drive down to Decorah JUST to go to Rubaiyat!
