Stopped here on a visit to Luther with my daughter. Their Halloween decor was adorable and the ice cream can't be beat. There was a little wait to get our hand-scooped treats, but soooo worth it!! Love the quote on the bowl: if you want nutrition, eat a carrot.

Came in and the worker had the ice cream out on the counter melting because she couldn’t scoop frozen ice cream. The ice cream was dripping everywhere and near impossible to have on a cone.

First time in Decorah, Iowa and Whips was closed but we saw this was open. The lady at the counter was very friendly, but sampling wasn't offered so I didn't ask. My husband got a scoop of the Rhubarb which was fantastic and I got the Munch Madness. She didn't ask me if I wanted it in a bowl or cone and when I saw it in the bowl I just rolled with it. Good ice cream and friendly chat.
