best place in des moines, come here when I feel down and depleted and it always gets me feeling normal again lmao. food is top quality and the staff are amazing people. never had a meal less than delicious EVER!

I want preface this a little...I have been coming to Adong for the better part of 25 years. I first visited the restaurant when it was in the orginal location in a building on Cottage Grove that was marginal at best. I came back when the location changed to where it is located presently. I came back after a fire almost destroyed...
great food and people. 120 item menu and its all good. most dishes are less than $10.

I really liked this place. Everything we ordered looked and tasted fresh and delicious. The dining area is lovely--sweet, comfortable, and relaxing decor! The food was simple which I loved. Nothing was showy or trying to stun with unnecessary stimulation for the standard American palate--nothing was too oily or salty. It was perfect.
