Probably better at night with a great whiskey they offer. I just had a beer. The atmosphere is pretty ok. Close to home for me, so it's a great spot.

Decent little bar with a good whiskey selection. The cocktail list is mostly classics and mules - nothing too special but fairly well made. Vibe was missing something when we were there, and it smelled strongly of bleach which was a bit off putting for a nicer bar.

This is a funky little bar in the East village. It definitely has a speakeasy ambiance with a big wooden bar and low lighting. The old fashioned is excellent. The higher end bourbons can get pretty pricey.

Came here on a cold March weekend afternoon (Saturday @5:30) and was surprised at how quiet it was. I like the decor. But for a prohibition era themed venue not to have the makings for a sidecar was disappointing. Otherwise it was ok. Would like to return in the summer as it has a neat garage door opening to the sidewalk.

The cocktails we had were pretty decent. But it was less then I expected. It was a short menu if you are looking for something tasty and unique. Not the most attentive bartender considering there was only one other person there besides us.

these guys are great ❤️. the drinks are delightful and the bartenders are excellent mixologist. not only do they know their stuff, but they also are great with us, the customers. The pool table is a major plus to this speakeasy. Alleged Lee's had quickly become one of my favorite places to drink in the East Village.
