An absolute must if you’re in Des Moines! Buzzard Billy’s serves up bold flavor, Southern charm, and a fun, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for any night out. The Cajun and Creole dishes are phenomenal—from the blackened catfish to the gator bites, everything was cooked to perfection. Great drink menu, awesome service, and a cool atmosphere right near the riverfront. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, don’t miss this place.

A quick walk from the Expo Center in downtown Des Moines! Great atmosphere! Food was not as flavorful, but I have a Southern palate, meaning I need less char and bland taste and more seasoning and fresher taste plus sweet tea. Probably great food if you're drinking, but I was there for brunch with teens. Busy day, so it was a long wait.
