I ordered the prime rib and was upset at how stringy and hard it was to cut and chew. I’ve been at lower end restaurants and could cut their prime rib with a butter knife. I couldn’t even finish my meal, because my jaw was so sore. Pretty disappointed. Everything else was perfect.
As always the salad bar is fantastic, but I do have to say I am a bit disappointed in my meal. I ordered a steak medium with fried shrimp. The shrimp came out grilled and the server, who was great, did end up bringing me out the correct shrimp. Then I went to cut into the steak and it was a hockey puck cooked well done. I’m usually not one to complain as I work in the industry, but I had to at least show her. I really thought I could just eat it so when she asked if I wanted...
Great atmosphere, meets top notch food, meets great service. Starting off with a wonderfully stocked salad bar that has amazing oreo fluff, then to the perfectly seasoned prime rib. My Old Fashion was a little stronger than I like but still good. My only overall complaint was the crowded parking. Still, if you are looking an affordable night out, this is one of the best places to go.
